First let's start with how adorable it is!! The fit was not too snug on her snoot but it was definitely secure! Muzzle training was quick and easy with this muzzle my girl actually seems to like it unlike many others we tried!I truly believe this muzzle gave her more comfort and confidence in a crowd of people and no one was just reaching their hands out to touch her! 🙌🙌 She does not like rogue hands coming at her constantly. We've worn vests before and no one respects not petting her with a vest on asking just that but the muzzle did the trick!!When wet the pink does "discolor"- as shown which makes me wonder how well it will hold up long term but my girl really likes it and it looks amazing!

EDIT July 29/2021So I am now giving this muzzle a 2 star ⭐️ ⭐️ review because I had to throw it away. I hardly ever needed to use it except for trips to the vet and a few random walks since he couldn’t stand having it on him ever and he was able to get it right off. I tried and tried to use it. The final straw was at the vet last time and he removed it twice. It just never seemed to fit him correctly. It came immediately off. Then he pulled it apart one day when he saw it laying in the garage and chewed it up. I should have waited to write my first review but didn’t so now I’m on Amazon trying to get a new muzzle because we have a yearly checkup in a month. It has so many straps and no matter how tight I made it, he would get it off. Ugh.Here’s my review of this purchase a few days after receiving it.May 2020///We’ve only put it on him once so far, but I wanted to write my review of this muzzle just based on my first opinion of it then I will edit it a few months into my experience with it as well as how my big GSD is reacting to the muzzle after multiple uses. He doesn’t like muzzles at all, but he allowed me to put this one on him right when I got it today will be day two of our using it. It’s really good quality leather, I’m not used to using leather products for animals but this will be a learning process for both of us. It fits him just fine. True to size as I measured him with the help of my boyfriend, so definitely measure your dog before you purchase this. Honestly this is the quality on Amazon and the price was very very reasonable. I paid 20$ Well crafted and strong. I choose this basket muzzle because I didn’t like how the plastic ones felt and I knew my GSD wouldn’t like hard plastic either. Plus the muzzle I had previously used which he could get off within one minute never fit right and just didn’t work for my dog. It was the kind of muzzle that you fit just around his nose and clip with a plastic clip in the back of his head. Not sturdy or secure at all. I finally found a product that works and does the job it was made to do.I definitely recommend this purchase because if you have a dog that can literally get out of any muzzle you have to think about safety and this is the muzzle for you and your dog 💯Yeah it’s not great and a strong 110 lb GSD has no issues whatsoever removing this muzzle so no after a year of trying it’s not good at all or safe for me to take him to the vet. He’s a good boy and loves people just not random dogs or the vet when the tech comes in with a helper he gets nervous and anxious as can be. I don’t know know why the vet can’t be the one to administer his shots or why the tech had to bring a helper into the tiny room while the other two stand there and one guy gives the shot? I could do it myself and have a happier GSD. Rant. 💯

So 1st and foremost, I bought muzzles for my Malinois as a proactive step to problems with offleash dogs while walking, biking or training my dogs off my own property. Malinois are high drive dogs and I didn't want to risk the chance of injury to them or other dogs.The muzzle seems well made, it did seems confusing trying to put it on but i looked at the pictures of the muzzle on amazon for help. I had already been conditioning my dogs to accept muzzles by hand feeding them treats or their food through the leash loop. When I got the muzzle I just dropped treats into the muzzle to get them to stick their nose in vs forcing it on them. Found that trick on youtube.Taking care of the leather muzzle shouldn't be hard. Do not use peroxide as that eats away at leather. Wipe it with a wet rag and use non toxic oils to oil it. Boot leather conditioners will.be toxic to dogs, so you can use coconut oil, linseed oil, mink oil etc. Do not use excessive amounts, just enough to keep it in good condition. Wipe down with every use if its wet or dirty.Muzzles arent meant to be a fix all to destructive behavior. You need to redirect that energry towards treat filled kongs, exercise, training etc. My dogs are high energry so biking, treadmills, tire pulling, tug or war are all essential to their daily routines. And i have cats that my boy Thrasher wants to chase, the muzzle will help, but he often has his bungee tug toy he redirects his frustration about the cat to. If your dog is destroying your muzzle, you should consider using treats to condition them to it or less time with muzzle on and more actitives to get that energry out.

I adopted my GSD from the shelter at about a year old. He was a stray, so there was no known history. His is an absolutely amazing dog, but has 1 little flaw......he does not tolerate dogs that run up to him barking. He will bark and the hair along his back will stand up. First incident was with my neighbors dog. He is fine with 2 of his dogs who more or less ignore his presence at the fence. There is one dog that will charge the fence barking and when that happens it's vicious sounding barking, trying to get under the fence at this dog. We are working through this with socialization and learning to focus on me more and often go to pet stores and dog parks (on leash right now) and this muzzle makes that possible without the fear of a fight breaking out. As he improves with the neighbors dog I know I will not need this when we go out, but for now it is safer (I do not use this at home). I took a star off since there is no way for a dog to drink water with this on.

Too big for my (large) size dogs. Muzzles were too small for a large size dog. I have bought more than one and they are just all too small. I measured and made sure that they wouldn't be able to chrw threw them or bark when on but these were too loose

Size is smaller than expected

Notre chienne est peureuse donc à des tendances à mordre. Nous en avons besoin pour ses cours avec le comportementaliste. En revanche , le bémol difficile à mettre!

Maulkorb sollte grundsätzlich immer Trainiert werden.Da ich schon 4 Hunde hatte mit dem 5 somit kein Problem hab ein Maulkorb zu tragen .Denn Maulkorb bekommt mein Hund nur beim Tierarzt drauf da meiner seid 4 Wochen mit einer Augenendzündung kämpft aber er macht das alles Tapfer. Es ist eine Sicherheit den ich den Tierärzten gegenüber bring .Brauchen würde er ihn draußen nicht. Wenn wir in Urlaub fahren hab ich ihn dabei. Manche Urlaubsregionen Brauch man teils ein Maulkorb oder gar sollte man ihn dabei haben.Der Maulkorb mag ich aus dem Grund da ermit wegst mein Schäfi ist 6monate er ist noch etwas groß aber die viele verstell Möglichkeiten macht es passend.Tolles Matterial weich und ist gut in der Hundeweste verstaut immer Griff bereit.Würde es mit ruhigem Gewissen Empfehlen.
