Don't buy the organic dried papaya they are gross.
Dried papaya spears. I have looked all over the place for dried papaya in all the areas that I shop and could not find anything! I talked to a lot of people and finally told to try Amazon, which I did and my 2 pounds of them came today, and they are wonderful!! You don't want to eat a lot of them at once since they are a bit high in sugar and I am diabetic. I am very happy with my order and would buy them again when the time comes.

we tried fresh papaya. this was a million times better. sugar was a little high but it was fresh. the size was great for the kids. good quality

Tasty but too high sugar
The description says low sugar but the nutrition label says it is 36% added sugar by volume! 100 gram serving size / 36 grams of *added sugar*. That is very high for anyone who is watching carbs. The flavor is good but quite sweet. I'll be looking for an unsweetened alternative.

This dried papaya product has a peculiar odor, similar to insecticide. The ingredients list only includes "papaya spears, low sugar" & "Unsulphured, no color added". Missed the "Return by" date by 2 days. Would recommend that Amazon verify the peculiar odor & consider dropping this item from their web site offerings. Note: the physiocal appearance of the papaya spears is actually superior, but the insecticide odor makes it unacceptable.

Package was mostly filled with tough, yellow-white, no flavor spears
Horrible! I have bought NUTS brand papaya spears in smaller sizes, so why was this 4 lb bag so full of inferior quality spears that were tough, yellow-white and no flavor? I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED. I'm Thinking twice about buying the NUTS brand spears again.
