i havent tested this on a live living animal. and hopefully wont have to. the spray stream is adequate and sprays quite thickly, i would hate to be on the receiving end of this.i like the runners hand strap, it helps to keep a nice grip on it.the turn and lock button spigot doesn't activate as quickly and efficiently as i want it to, i had to press considerably hard to activate it.the price was great, under 10 dollars.

This pepper spray canister is on the smaller, skinnier side, which may benefit those who need something for concealment. It's a good price, and the holder comes in handy. I can't attest to the potency of the spray, but if you looking for something that you can slip out, use, and put away without difficulty, this may be your product.

The product isa great idea, it just didn't work for me. The pepper spray would go flying off when I started running. Maybe I swing my arms too much? I don't know. I guess I can just put it in a pocket instead.

I haven't actually used it, but I appreciate its compact size and also that it works better than pepper spray inside a car. I started driving for Lyft and it's nice to have this available.

This is a great product. I decided to get gel after multiple people said spray could backfire into your face on a windy day. You need better aim with gel but I’m not too worried about that. If you do have bigger hands this might not be the best one for you when the strap is on. Not a problem for me though as my hands are a bit on the smaller side so it’s pretty easy to hold. Apart from that everything else seems great. The lock seems durable enough. Hopefully will never have to use this though!
