ALPS OutdoorZDeluxe Floating Blind Bag - Waterproof Hunting Duffel Bag, with Removable Dividers, Thermos Sleeve & Padded Shoulder Strap

I purchased the large version a few weeks into duck season. This bag is awesome! I kept one of the dividers in and pulled the other out. The bag itself is light and can be crammed full of heavy gear. The coat pocket in top I found to work rather well with putting ducks in. Waterproof compartment works great for phone, license, and other stuff you want to keep dry. The whole bag is mostly waterproof but that just gives added security. Lots of pockets and plenty of storage. The side pocket fits a large thermos as well. I did not have any accidents or intentions of dropping this in the water to see if it floated full of gear but it may. I was able to use this bag in a duck blind and also a layout blind. I liked it so much I also filled it up for deer hunting.

Okay maybe that is little too exaggerated. Here is what happened… I am a novice hunter and I started getting into duck hunting this season. As a rookie, sometimes you make dumb decisions ( I know, hunting can be dangerous in itself). I was trying to cross a ditch filled with water and the more I kept going to more the water was rising, but I thought, I can make it (famous last words). Next thing I know water is pouring into my waders and I’m going down. I quickly grab my ALPS Z Deluxe blind bag (thank god I got the deluxe) and throw myself on it which allowed me to float just enough to get my feet back on ground. I am very thankful I had this bag!Apart from the life saving feature for idiots, I have been really impressed with this bag, especially for the price! When I was researching there were a lot of bags that were similar but more expensive. I went with this one based on reviews and price. So far it has lived up to its name. It’s very tough, floats pretty decent, several pockets, and the seal feature on the top works great! The ONLY issue I had was when I was in flooded area and had the bag floating it did leak a little bit, but it wasn’t terrible. The outside pockets leaked, which I expected, but the bottom held up fairly well.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase! ALPS, thank you for making a bag that can save dummies like me!

Overall, this seems to be a pretty good bag...well made and sturdy.Unfortunately, the bag arrived missing both the padded shoulder strap and the interior dividers for the main compartment. I have contacted ALPS customer service, awaiting their reply.Duck season starts next week here so the missing parts makes it a little disappointing start.

Just got back from the first hunt with this bag. 1 of the pocket zipper pull broke before I even left. No more broke on this trip. But the broken zipper is very hard to use now. Will just leave it empty. So now I have a wasted pocket. Sure hope others don’t break soon. Great idea and size is good for me. Not sure it will last long. Would not order again

I bought this cause is was a good value I recently took it out hunting I put 3 full boxes of shotgun shells ,gloves ,face paint ,wallet,duck calls and a roll of camo blind material still had lots of room also used it as a seat great product

If you just want this to hold some stuff, dont expect all the zippers to function. Plastic sleeve is junk, as the clue to hold the zipper on does not hold, even if you dont put anything in it. Better success filling a shopping bag for the little items you need in the blind.

Material seems tough. Plenty of pockets to store all types of hunting items. The bag seems like it will last a long time. Shell storage conpartment holds plenty of boxes.

This bag is outstanding, lots of pockets, keeps gear dry, holds multiple cases f shells plus all my at, well thought out....small pice of feedback is glasses holders is a little small

Well crafted, great size but not too large. Does not hold a box of shells on the outside pouches if you want that. Very pleased.

Solid bag in the blind or in the truck.
