Good quality mung bean
I love making guisado mung bean soup which is a Filipino soup and these mung beans do not disappoint, you get so much beans in the bag, this will last you for a long time, definitely a value for your money. Good quality highly nutritious food!

High fiber
Rani Moong Beans are a fantastic addition to my morning routine! I specifically chose them for my grain bowl because the fiber content is truly impressive—off the charts, really. I mix a tablespoon in with other grains, pour hot water over them, let it sit for a while, and voilà! The result is a unique, nutrient-packed smoothie that's as satisfying as it is healthy. These beans are versatile, easy to prepare, and have become an essential part of starting my day off right. Highly recommend giving them a try!

Good moong dal but needs longer time to cook
I had to run it on slow boil for 50 minutes. I don't see an issue with that. I did not have a pressure cooker handy.

Sprout well!!
I’m sprouting Rani beans, excellent so far. Pic showing Rani mung(front/right,) and Rani black urad(front/left,) 1/4 cup dried beans in each jar, I’ll use a little less next time, the jars filled up too soon. I have Rani chickpeas stored in the fridge, and Rani moth coming soon that I intend on sprouting with besides cooking with. Great company I use their spices, and dals also.

Sent an open bag
The product is supposed to be sealed in a tough plastic bag but the bag was completely open with the daal spilling out. It was also missing several ounces. I threw it out as I do not want food that’s in an unsealed bag. It’s stored in warehouse and I do not want my food getting in contact with vermin and rats.

Good for feeder insects too
Used them for my bean Beatles that I feed to my geckos. The Beatles are thriving and in numbers I couldn't have foreseen. The beans are smaller than I expected but I have also never seen mong beans before. My Beatles are happy and thus my geckos, so I'm happy. Will buy again. I also want to learn a few recipes and try them myself.
