I love this meat thermometer. It really takes the guesswork out of cooking meat to the perfect temperature. Being able to see the temperature of the meat with very little work and for several different pieces is really a gamechanger for my grilling. It has taken me to the next level of grilling.

Big numbers and easy to read. It also works rather well across Bluetooth to my phone. Setting alarms also make it convenient to stay on top of making sure you keep the smoker going.

I am a gourmet chef. Preference is quality items when making "kitchen appliance purcahses". This initially appealed to me, because having food "come up" at the same time is crucial... Well, after using it on and off six times, it failed. It does no longer light up and perform the job after six uses. Here is the kicker: I purchased 8 more like it for culinary friends... I really got snagged here. Now I have it past the 30 days and looks like I am out of luck. Junk, maybe the Meater edition is the way to fly... but this is definitely NOT IT if you are serious about kitchen business.

But it gets -1 due to horrible battery compartment design but get's that +1 back due to using AAA batteries and not some button cell. Everything else I have really nothing to say except praise. The reader I had I didn't feel was accurate based on frying visual results. This one the numbers I saw and the results in front of my eyes matched. Not sure how accurate it is, but it's definitely better than my old flip reader. Plus I can hang it from the microwave, hands free! So nice.

Works great. Download the app insert the batteries plug in the probes and wait for the alarm to go off to tell you dinner is ready. Well you do have to set up the alarms but that is easy too. I was surprised at how easy it is and how well it works. The cord with the probes is long enough to set on the side table on the grill and the probes seem well made and durable. However, I am concerned about the durability of the unit that you plug the probes into and it communicates with your phone app. That is the main hub of the product and it is very lightweight and cheaply made where you insert the batteries. If one of the batteries does not connect you will have nothing. I am hoping I am wrong but I will be gentle with it because it really is a great tool. I get so distracted when entertaining and this will really help to keep me from overcooking the food.

This meat bluetooth thermometer is very nice looking. It has a quality display and is compact and portable. It comes with a bunch of prongs to read the temperature, which is great and allows you to avoid cross contaminating meat/other food types. I tested it with a standard meat thermometer and the results were almost identical. It does require batteries. Takes a bit to get used to and figure out. Overall happy

Looks nice,arrived on time, good job Amazon,Couple of reasons why I give this unit 2 stars is ,First, to look at it you would think it was rugged and water proof. Not so. Cheap made and Not water proof. second reason is they state that transmission distance up to 196ft,Mine lost connectivity at 120ft. We live in a house with no obstructions. My iPhone AirPods have better range! Very disappointed in this product.

Pros: Easy set up. Easy to read. Probes are solid metal and appear to be durable. Cons: Bluetooth signal is mediocre: I lost connection indoors at a distance of 20'. Does not report ambient temperature: knowing meat temp is is only half the picture,of equal importance is the grill/smoker temperature. Probes get crazy hot so you need an oven mitt to reposition them during cooking.
