MarCumFlasher System M1 Flasher System, Black/Red

I ice fish a lot, I fish a lot of tournaments and series’s on the ice. I fish 4 days a week. I’ve used many of fish finders and a couple different flashers. The M1 is right up there at the top of them. It marks fish easily, it easily picks up the smallest of jigs, and has great bottom separation. The colors are strong and is simply easy to read. The battery life is outstanding and it’s not heavy. The only downfall (why it lost 1 star) is if it’s a very sunny day it can be hard to read from the glare.

Very happy with this product it works great haven’t had any problems with it and it does all that it says it does. The only down fall that I don’t like is it doesn’t have a battery indicator to check and see how much battery life it has left.

Operates as described and work well with other flasher units nearby. Very clear and definitive marks, quiet and easy to operate. Would recommend to anybody.

Product seems to work perfectly when it is plugged in, but will not stay on if the battery isn’t hooked up to the charger. I haven’t had this particular unit on the ice yet, but I tested it and it works great. I’m working with MarCum now to get a new battery sent out to me, I may update review based on their customer service. I’m very excited to put a jig under it.

The system just stopped working and doesn’t even turn on. It was brand new and used for about 20 hours total before it stopped. I sent it in for repairs and it was returned promptly, however it was not repaired. Customer service had a difficult time problem solving the issue which I solved on my own. The battery was no good apparently. The flasher worked well but I had to replace the battery which wouldn’t accept a charge.

All you really need. Very simple, sensitive in a good way. Caught a lot of fish with this unit. My first sonar unit, went with something basic.
