I was only looking for a speaker that was about £100 for my conservatory but didn't want one that was terrible quality and i wanted high bass. After doing days of research it was between this and a Sony party speaker.After reading reviews that the Sony started to distort sound at loud volumes, knowing that Pioneer are notorious in the nightclub and music scene and seeing that this speak on pioneers website is worth £500 (of which i purchased it for less then half that value) I quickly placed the order.The best set of speakers I own! Really easy to set up bluetooth (all you have to do is hold a button for 30 seconds). This speaker is enough to start your own festival and annoy all your neighbours within a mile of your where your playing. Bass vibrates everything around you turned all the way up and i've already used it to scare the living crap out of my roommates. Buy Buy Buy

Quality of sound and quality of product, it's much much bigger than value. But whatsoever, you will need two of them if you want to have really good sound system at your home. I am happy with product and I will buy another one.

These are powerful speakers with amazing sound. Good clean bass and perfect highs. Had a few struggles with linking them via Bluetooth so I linked them using a cable and they work perfectly

Bought two of these: the sound quality is surprisingly good. Bluetooth works fine with Spotify on iPhone but pairing the two can be a hit and miss affair as regards the Bluetooth connectivity with each other. They are big, heavy and not really mobile, although they do come with a sturdy carry handle. But all that's a price worth paying as the bass will rumble your intestines without it sounding "loud" or distorted. Neighbours can also listen in and enjoy; they won't have much choice. You'll need to buy some felt pads to insert in your door frames as the bass literally shakes the house. No kidding.

The speaker feels solid and well made, the surface has a nice texture to it, and the LED lights aren't too over the top. It's very heavy so you wouldn't want to move it around too much, but there's no creaking or rattling at higher volumes that you sometimes get with cheaper speakers.Unfortunately I've had to return mine for a couple of reasons. First, the Bluetooth completely fails to connect to my Samsung phone, my phone works fine with my other Bluetooth speakers but every time I tried to connect to this speaker wire free I get an error message about checking the vendors device configuration (the speaker was in pairing mode as per instructions while trying to connect). Second, the sound is just far to 'boomy' for my ears, headache inducing boomy. The clarity of the actual vocals and instruments sound pretty good for the price, just a shame about the boomy bass, rather than a nice pleasant deep base.Finally, mine did come with a 2 to 3 pin mains plug adapter, unfortunately it didn't appear to work correctly. When plugged in with the adapter the speaker would suddenly loose all signs of power about 5-10 seconds later. The adapter also made an electrical buzzing noise suggesting poor internal contacts. In the end I set up the speaker with one of my printer cables, thankfully Pioneer included a standard 2 pin power socket on the rear of the speaker so getting a suitable UK power cable isn't difficult.

The media could not be loaded. I was a bit blown away by this speaker. It is powerful. And by powerful. I mean - this is a BEAST. I mean you could host your own disco with this, your own rave in an abandoned warehouse, or my brother said you could use it for your own music festival. I'd say it's too powerful for home usage, unless you live in a very rural area, or have neighbours that you want to bother. Although this speaker plays all music, I would say it really boosts and amps up the power of electric music, like House, EDM and Techno. It feels like it has a spirit that likes that kind of stuff and makes it bigger and better.The bass is enough to cause a small earthquake. We were genuinely worried about breaking our windows.The lights are good, and I didn't have chance to test this in the dark. It mostly matches the rhythms and tempo of the music. But sometimes it feels a bit off, or not quite syncopated with the beat. However it definitely adds something.I was a bit disappointed that it came with a Euro 2-pin plug on it, rather than a UK plug. We had to wait a week for a Euro-> UK adaptor to come through. So if you are buying this for use in the UK, you will need to buy a Euro -> UK power adaptor. All in all I have to give this five stars for the purpose it was made for - a heavy-duty speaker for personal music-centred events.
