I used it in my pet room. Immediately 1cat walked right over and began to claw it like an old shoe. He did lift up crumb like particles. And another immediately peed on it. And i wiped up really easily and no harm. Also, if you needed to, it would be very easy to replace a particular square if it got damaged or ruined.These are the reasons why I put it in a pet room.. but it’s very easy to install. It’s actually kind of fun. Make sure you keep the direction of the wood look tiles in the same direction. And to finish the edges, you can cut the squares to fit all along the edge. You will need two extra squares for whatever it is you think you already need for the edges and it’s easy to cut just score it and cut straight off scissors really easy.. also it’s very soft and cushioning and comfortable to walk on although I’m questioning heavy furniture sitting on it, but it serves its purpose and no problems and looks great!

Love these tiles. Look great, easy to install easy to clean and with enough padding to make a great play area for my grandbabies that are not walking yet! Would definitely purchase again!

This floor looks great and was easy to put together. I used it in my spray tan/nail/lash room. It is very soft and is kind to the joints. My only complaint is that anything heavy leaves marks and dents that don’t go away and the top layer of the color is easily scratches off by things like furniture. For th price it’s a great value especially when you compare it to regular flooring of any kind. It was easy to trim and cut. It does nicely together and it’s functional for any room really. There is no plastic smell so that was great as well.

After receiving some ridiculously high quotes for renting a dance floor for my wedding in June, I began searching Amazon for another option. After spending countless hours searching and ordering other interlocking mats, I decided on keeping & ordering the Sorbus Interlocking floor mat. These mats look fabulous, feel fabulous, and are 1/3 of the cost of renting an indoor 300 sqft. dance floor. Pros 1) Theses mats are waterproof but do not become overly slippery when wet. The liquid pools up for easy cleanup and doesn't seep through cracks, so I am not worried about spilled drinks or potentially losing my security deposit for the wedding venue (which is higher than cost of these floors). 2) These mats do not slip on carpet or tile- especially when you increase the square footage being covered. If you are still nervous about this because you think your party will be doing a lot of line dancing or shuffling in the same direction, Amazon sells double sided tape that could adhere the Sorbus tiles down to carpet or tile. I am thinking my group will be just doing a lot of off-beat, bad dancing, so I am choosing on taking the risk of minimal tile movement rather than using adhesive that might ruin the venue floor I am trying to protect. Please note that if you tried to install these tiles over extremely cushion-y carpet, you are likely to have the interlocking tiles slightly separate. Thankfully, my venue doesn't have anything remotely close to shag carpet, so this really shouldn't be an issue. 3) These mats feel fabulous on your feet, especially when you are barefoot. Mens dress shoes, flats, and wedges do not damage these floor tiles at all. Stiletto heels or any fat heels do make marks/divots in the floor even with light use (not full punctures like some people have stated). When you have bare feet, the floor is a bit noisy as your foot pulls off the mats. This might be something to consider if you are planning on using these tiles in your house. Please note that these characteristics were the case with all foam interlocking tiles, not just for Sorbus tiles. 4) The assembly/ disassembly of these mats is a breeze. Please note that these mats are sent to you with 2 of the edge pieces assembled, which means that you can't easily assemble them with the "wood" grain flowing in the right direction the moment you unpack them. I would recommend that the moment you unwrap, remove all edge pieces to assemble the bulk of the floor and then go around to attach the edging. Also note that there are 2 types of edging - corners & straight. They are easy to tell apart, but I thought I would mention it just in case you are trying to assemble efficiently and quickly. 5) These mats do have a slight edge (3/8" thick). My parents were concerned about drunk people tripping (but let's be serious, drunk people could trip on a painted line), so I went ahead and ordered some "Rubber Transition- 3/8" thickness Tile/Carpet Joiners" I found on a site called Koeffler (cheaper than anything I could find on Amazon). These black rubber borders really make this dance floor look like the real deal when its floating in the middle of a room while also making it safe for drunk people who may be dragging their feet. I will update with before/after pictures on the condition after a full night of 140 people dancing on them. I have already accepted that I am using these out of the scope they are intended for and definitely putting them to the extreme test. However, with how much money I will be saving over the alternatives of renting a floor or forfeiting my security deposit I am okay with taking this risk. Update (8 years later- still happily married) Functionally- the Dance floor worked great! We had people on it all night long and i had multiple guys come up and tell me it was the most comfortable dance floor they have ever danced on! Lots of shoes came off and there were more people attempting the worm than i ever imagined would occur. We had a friend borrow it for their outdoor wedding and they put it over plywood with no problem. It has has now been repurposed for cushion in our basement gym. This wedding dance floor has lasted longer and been more practical than half the things on my wedding registry.. I have dug up some old wedding photos to help some of you brides on the fence if you are curious “how it will look in wedding photos”. TBH- dont worry about it, girl. one of my favorite photos came from the first dance and it doesn't have the floor in it at all. Im glad I did the black tape around the dancefloor- I think it helped it seem more intentional. Who should NOT buy this floor- if you, your mom, your mom in law, or most of your gursts plan on wearing stilletoes to the wedding- you will not want to dance on this think. You just sink through the floor. most of my female guests were in wedges and 100% of the guys wore flats so it was not an issues. ;) Do NOT buy if you are planning on using this in a dog crate/puppy pen. This floor received more damage from my dogs claws post wedding than it did in either wedding. Do NOT buy if you are planning on using it only as a standalone workout mat. This thing is SLICK! Great for cushion under a yoga pad though. The one in the picture is actually one I purchased off of Amazon. Now doing core is a dream. Hope this helps!

Had to remove hallway carpet and this was a solution until I can place flooring. I have two dogs, 75 and 30 pounds. So far is keeping up. Looks great for what it is. Was easy to install qnd even cut. I had to half some pieces but it was pretty easy with a kitchen knife. Overall happy with the product, will place a runner over it so it lasts longer. Definitely worth the price for a quick fix!

They are great for a basement floor! Playroom. They lock together nicely. They fit well on large basement. Soft on feet, wipe easily, laying of them is quick and easy. They have a bubble bottle so as.not to build up moisture on a basement floor. No smell to them at all. Kids are on these daily!

These mats are very natural looking and easy to install, the quality is decent but not very durable when you place a piece of furniture or something heavy in a spot make sure that’s where you want it because it leaves indents and marks . Other than durability I love them. Just wish they were more durable for the price.

Just what I needed to transform my workspace in the garage. Now I don’t have to stand on concrete. Love how I can walk barefoot now and it’s so comfortable to stand on while working. It has a realistic look to it as well. Very easy to assemble.

I love these floor tiles. We got them to use in our basement for our toddlers and they have worked great. They are decently thick and really help warm up the cold basement floor and I like how they look in comparison to others on the market. The removable borders make it so you can customize the size and shape of your mat.
