Hope your active subwoofer has "speaker level inputs" as the only sub out on this amp is powered and not line level.

Can the sub out be bypassed for a 2.0 system?

You dont have to use the sub channel, so yes.

how do i know which Hz my crossover knob is currently set to? I see no indication on the front. Just the knob.

Crossover is 50-120hz. You have 70hz to play with, straight up on the adjustment should net you 85hz. Hope this helps.

What is the output of the amp on the stereo channel (not the sub) with an 8 ohm load?

Probably 25 watts as it would be half of what the channel is capable with a 4 ohm load.
