Nice design
Solid product. Assembles simply. No rattling in the truck. No marks or damage to the interior. I only wish it could also work in the forward most position, directly behind the front seats. I sanded, primed, and painted mine flat black. Looks great, works great... Would definitely recommend to a friendUpdate: I had broken one of the plastic clips that holds the barrier in place. I contacted the company via email about my problem. The response was quick and immediately shipped out replacement parts for me and no charge. Unfortunately during covid and with international mail services the package was lost twice. But Travall stepped up and shipped it a third time via tracked UPS and it arrived the other day. I cannot be more happy with the customer service and the product that this company provides I highly recommend

Installs and fits very well. Tight and no rattles.

Secure and strong
Works great, read the instructions first and will install in a breeze. Husband installed in 20 minutes and it hasn’t shifted once with a lab and a shepherd leaning on it. Also, no rattles. We installed it a month ago

hardware issue, dead space between guard and seat.
Just installed this today in 2012 4Runner. Detailed step by step pictures made assembly/installation easy. You will need a 10mm wrench and a Phillips head screw driver. Unfortunately, on the first assembly step, the brass insert in the hand-tighten nut was M6 and the bolt was 1/4" 20. Luckily, I had a couple of nuts on hand that worked, and I sent a message to Travall noting they had some fasteners in the hardware kit that wouldn't work. I'll try to update when/if I receive a response or replacement hardware. Another concern is the dead space between the guard and the rear seatback. This isn't shown very clearly in the pictures, but it's about 6 inches or so of dead space that you you lose from the rear cargo area. Not a major deal, but if you want to haul two large labs like us, you want as little wasted space as possible. Would have been 5 stars except for these 2 issues. The guard is well designed and manufactured, very sturdy. It can be removed, but I'd say it's a little too much trouble to plan on putting it in and out frequently. It will not leave any marks from installation; it has two adjustable feet that fit into the squares where the cargo cover fits. So you can't use the cargo cover with this installed, but we never have anyway. As mentioned elsewhere, this is the only option I've seen that doesn't attach to the seatback or potentially damage the headliner. Today we hauled the 2 labs with 1 in the cargo area and one in the back seat area, with the rear seatbacks folded down. Since 1 lab is a crazy 4 mo old, it was nice to keep them separated.UPDATE: Travall promptly sent 2 new clamp knobs and 2 new bolts. However, one of the clamp knobs was still 1/4", not M6. Seems odd that they wouldn't double-check them before sending. I emailed them again, and implored them to check their inventory for mixed threads in the clamp knobs. Again, they promptly sent another clamp knob and bolt, and I finally got the correct parts. After having this installed for a while now, we really like it, and the dead space issue isn't critical. It's there because the seat backs can recline, a feature we never use.

Lost too much cargo space in 4Runner
Seemed very sturdy, but we returned this item due to the 7-8" gap it created behind the back seats making the cargo space too small for our dogs.

Awesome for the Toyota 4-runner
I handed over assembly and install to my lego building 12 year old. With the exception of 2 screws which required some serious torque to set, he built and installed it in a few hours. The barrier is Malinois and Border Collie proof. It needs to be tighted after moderate 4-wheeling but I would expect that.Great product and quality

Sturdy, but poor fit makes this unsafe as-is
Have been using this for several years now. Despite the high cost it's the most sturdy pet barrier I've encountered and is able to withstand a 100lb Labradane that wants to ride in the front seat. My biggest gripe with it is the poor fit. There are significant gaps on both sides with the 2009-Current 4Runner version that smaller dogs can easily climb through and larger dogs poke their heads through. I had to make an abrupt stop after our dog got his collar caught on the fastening bolt and began choking so I view this as an unsafe product. I had to resort to blocking off the gaps with some parts from a cheap barrier that I had lying around. For the cost this is not acceptable.

Great Product
Installed this yesterday in my 2019 4Runner ORP. Pictures in directions where a little confusing at times, however it was nothing that couldn’t be figured out. No rattles once installed and fit solid. This is my second Travall pet barrier. Our other one is in our Subaru Forester XT, that we have had for over a year. Never had to adjust it and it has never rattled. Made it an easy decision to get this one for our 4runner.
