I bought this oil & the blowout butter from the same line. These are the first Alterna products I've ever tried. They work incredibly well for blowouts in humid weather on my thick, wavy hair. I'm amazed that I don't need to do touchups. This is better than every oil I've ever tried. It's definitely made for medium / thick hair. I can often find that silicone oil type products aren't rich enough for my hair (like the Ouai one or Oribe's Gold Lust Oil). But this one is rich and nourishing.I use the oil to seal the hair after I'm done with the blow dryer. I looooove the way it smells! It isn't a harsh fragrance (like Oribe can be). I would describe the scent as a green tea floral with a hint of warm spice. It's gender neutral and very attractive. Best of all, this product doesn't give me an itchy scalp like some silicone products can.Amazing for humid weather!

The product moisturizes without making my hair greasy. It tames the frizzies. When I put it on at night and put my night scarf on the next morning I hair feels soft and looks great. I use it daily. It’s light enough to use twice a day.

I have been looking for a product for frizzy hair for a while. This product gave me results instantly, I love it! I recommend that you use it after showering when your hair is still wet. You can also apply on dry hair daily. I have fine frizzy hair.

Accidentally broke bottle and was so upset to see that the bottle is designed to only hold half a bottle of oil. You do not get a FULL bottle of oil.

It smells WEIRD -and too think -the only thing that’s better than the (discontinued) Alterna Bamboo Kendi oil is that it seems to help style hair rather than just add shine and smooth ends. Now if ALTERNA could make a new product that combines the (NEW PRODUCT HAS added scent) FRAGRANCE of their old Kendi Oil with the styling factor of this new product -then they’d really have something!

This helps a lot with frizzy hair. Just don’t use to much!!
