Worked sort of
It didn’t quite stop the buzz but it helped so it’s good but not great

Could have been better!
To begin with, the metal seems to be stainless steel. It is not the same color or as highly polished as the parts on a Fender guitar. There are no bearings or bushings for the roller, it is just crudely pinned on both ends. I watched carefully as I moved the "Tremolo" Lever and the "Roller" didn't roll at all, the Bridge still rocked as it should, but the strings just slid under the "Roller Bar"! A simple pair of roller bearings would have fixed this. Also the "Roller Bar" interferes with the downward motion of the "Tremolo Lever", so if you want useful movement in the down direction, you must misadjust the tension screw to raise the lever. Having said all this, it does cause more pressure on the bridge pieces which will stop much of the buzzing which everyone seems to hate, and keep the strings from jumping position when struck hard. Whether it will cause tuning problems remains to be seen! If I had manufactured this item, I would be ashamed to ask 45 or even 35 or indeed 20 dollars as is seen elsewhere on the internet.... Ten or twelve dollars is more realistic for such a simple cheaply made device!!! In conclusion, if the "Tremolo" isn't a great concern to you and the fact that it isn't highly polished chrome plated steel. I do recommend this device for ending bridge buzzing and string hopping even though the cost is exorbitant for what it is.

Best accessory for your Jaguar
I bought a Squier vintage modified jaguar from my local independent guitar shop. The guitar was professionally set up. However, there continued to be some buzzing and rattling. The set up was not an issue, I actually like the bridge (allows for better string spacing), the neck was perfect and the frets were perfectly level. Several on-line guitar folks said that it might be the string tension and not the bridge (which is usually blamed), I feel that this is correct. So I bought one of these Buzz Stop Rollers, and put it on (took almost ten minutes). Wow. This guitar sounds so clean, it is so easy to play. Now, some complain that this affects the tone. I really prefer the sound with the Buzz Stop compared to the sound without it.

A Travesty
The reason a Squier Jaguar buzzes is because it doesn't have a true bridge; the strings just kind of lay across what basically are screws oriented sideways. You can temporarily alleviate this to a degree by removing the bridge and unscrewing the two contact "feet" or whatever they're called, all the way out, so that the strings will hug the "bridge" tighter, but the Jag is such a fanatic for buzzing, it's like the rest of the axe "adjusts" around the change of bridge position overnight, and it's Sitar City Arizona. Back to square one. However, there's good news. Your Jag doesn't HAVE to be a sitar. You can install this roller attachment, which will raise the strings so high over the bridge, it will turn your Jag into a harp. So if you can't be bothered with the strings having any relation whatsoever with the fretboard, and you don't need a bridge to be getting in your way as you entertain the neighbors with your Harpo Marx, this chunk of aluminum leprosy is your ticket.I have a Squier Bullet Strat which cost 100 USD new, and it has none of these kinds of issues. If Squier are this cavalier about their quality control as of late, I won't be touching them from here on out. If I want another cheap-but-good "Fender", there's Sawtooth, there's SX, there's Guitar Fetish, and tons of other manufacturers who do it better. Releasing a guitar with a "bridge" like that one? That is silly to a nose-picking-in-public degree.

an interesting change
I installed this on my Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar. No modifications were necessary, and it bolted right into place. It alleviated most of the string buzz from the finicky bridge/trem. I felt that the guitar was less "plonky," and had a little more sustain. Not perfect, but it is to be expected with modding the guitar. The finish matched the rest of the hardware, and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.

No buzz. Solved my issue. Love it

No more string buzz.
Great hard to find part. Easy to install. Fits perfectly and really corrected the string buzz which is kind of common to the Jaguar.
