Exceeded expectations
This lighter is great! So, so much better than my last one. I had previously ordered a Bolt coil lighter after doing a significant amount of research (because apparently, there just arenโt many really solid choices in rechargeable electric lighters, merely some that are less mediocre or bad than the others). It arrived needing to be charged, the charging cable broke within days, it didnโt last long between charges, it had no indicator to tell you when the battery was low, it was surprisingly heavy relative to its compact size, it could be difficult to slide open to reveal the coil because the lighterโs surface is smooth and slick and thereโs nothing to get a purchase in order to pull it down, you had to hold the cigarette right up against the coil for a long time to get it to light a cigarette, the coil therefore got clogged up with ashes and thereโs no brush or other tool included to clean it, and it just suddenly stopped working after a mere 8 months. By contrast, this lighter arrived charged (a nice and convenient touch) in a nice looking box (another nice touch), the charging cable appears to be quite a bit sturdier, it has an indicator to let you know the batteryโs status, it is larger than the Bolt but is no heavier, and may even be lighter weight, and thereโs a brush included โ however because the plasma arcs are so hot, they can light a cigarette (or whatever) without having to make direct contact, you merely have to get it close and it instantly lights it up. Iโve only been using it a few days, but it has far exceeded my expectations, which were admittedly pretty low after my previous rechargeable electric lighter experience. However, itโs a solid choice that I would be happy with regardless, itโs just that Iโm a bit more enthusiastic because of my very disappointing experience previously. I would definitely recommend this lighter to anyone looking for an easy to use, nice quality rechargeable electric lighter thatโs a good value given its features, performance and the extra touches other ones donโt offer (as long as it lasts longer than my previous one that is, and Iโll try to update this review after Iโve had it for several months and let you know if it held up over time).

Sipoe Lighter keeps on going, going and going
The last electric lighter I had was over 50 years ago, yes I am that old. Not sure where I purchased it from but it wasn't Amazon. Needless to say that it was unique for the time period. It was before USB cables so you slid a little button and the two pronges came out of the bottom then you plugged it into a 110 volt wall outlet. Anyway some where along the line I lost it or left it plugged into some wall outlet at some bar. For some reason I decided to see what was available on Amazon and decided to purchase the Sipoe lighter, While sitting in our attached garage having a Cig ( the only place indoors I'm allowed to smoke, married 54 years, mostly good after she got me trained) . I wonder how long a full charge would continue to light. I fully charged the lighter and start to count the number of times the lighter elements would glow. Each depression of the activation button was held for 2 to 3 seconds which is the time required to light a smoke. I would do this for 10 times and let the lighter rest for 1 minute as the area around the the heating area would get a little warm, The lighter continued to function flawlessly for 80 times. At the 80 count mark, when the lighter was activated, the elements would light up and glow but would shut down by itself before the 2-3 second hold on mark had been reached. I would then release the button wait 10-15 seconds and try again. The elements would light up and glow but shut down as before. The battery charge indicator was on ONE light This went on for another 10 tries until when the lighter was actived the elements would not glow. I then let the lighter rest for 10 minute and tried again. The elements continued to glow as before for another few depression. In my garage experiment, it indicates the lighter on one charge was able to give 80 full power activation to the elements necessary to light the smokes. That would be 4 packs. Not sure how many candles that would be or other objects that needed to be lit. In conclusion the fit and finish of the lighter is good. It has a nice weight to it and the battery charge light are nice and bright. No problem with the short insersion of the UBS cord. Appears to have realistic duration for functing as a lighter. Good chance I will not leave it in some computer while paying Bingo or at some ones funeral. As of this report I would give it 5 Stars. My one suggestion on how to get a fast clean light with out dirtying the elements is to not touch the elements withe smoke or what ever. I place the cig. just above the elements and take a couple of intake puffs. This cause a small flame to be generated by the elements which is suck up to the tip of the smoke and lights the entire end with out touching the elements. Looking forward to see how long the lighter continues to function. Will keep posted on any new duration tests conducted while in the garage.

Great for Candles, Incense, and Travel
This electric arc lighter has become one of my favorite low-maintenance tools around the house. I mainly use it to light candles and incense, and for that purpose, itโs pretty much perfect. No fuel, no flame, no messโjust a quick, reliable arc of electricity that gets the job done every time. Letโs get this part out of the way: I wouldnโt recommend using this to light anything you plan to smoke (like cigarettes or cigars). The arc is too small, awkwardly shaped for that kind of use, and youโll burn through the battery a lot faster if youโre constantly igniting something. But if youโre just looking for a safer, cleaner alternative to matches or butane lighters, especially for indoor or survival use, this is an excellent option. What Itโs Great For Candles: Whether itโs a jar candle or a taper, this lighter handles it easily without burning your fingers. Incense: One of the best uses. You can light the stick precisely and safely without any mess or fuel odor. Camping and travel: Because itโs rechargeable via USB, youโll never be stuck without a way to light somethingโas long as you have a portable battery. Wind resistance: Since itโs an electric arc, wind doesnโt blow it out like a traditional flame. Battery and Charging Battery life is surprisingly good if you use it occasionallyโIโve gone months without charging when only using it for candles here and there. But if youโre using it constantly, like trying to light something repeatedly, youโll drain it faster. Still, it charges fast and reliably via USB. Important Safety Note Yes, you can get shockedโand I have. The shock isnโt painful, but it is noticeable, like a sharp jolt. This only happened when I did something dumb: trying to light something made of metal or foil. Donโt do that. The arc can travel through conductive materials, and thatโs when you risk shocking yourself. Stick to organic materials like wood, paper, or wicks, and youโll be totally fine. Final Thoughts This is one of those products that seems small and niche but ends up being incredibly useful once you own it. Itโs a great tool for minimalists, travelers, or anyone who burns candles and incense regularly. Just know what itโs designed for, donโt try to use it on metal, and youโll be impressed by how well it performs.

Great lighter!!!
I'm very pleased with the quality of this lighter. I last purchased one a year ago. It's still going strong. The one purchased before that lasted at least 2 years - with lots of use. They charge quickly and hold a charge satisfactorily. They're solid metal and have a sleek, simple design. The brand I purchased before was plastic and didn't last as long. I'm going to order another one soon because it seems so many quality items are being replaced with substandard ones these days. I definitely recommend buying one of these lighters.

Elegant, safe, with some nice design features and easy to operate
I like this lighter a lot. On the plus side, it's elegant, a good weight and fit for the hand, has an easy to press ignition button, the top closes turning it off so it can be in a pocket or purse without worrying about it accidentally igniting, and the power indicator on the side are all great touches. It also is easy to clean, I've had it almost a month now and it's still going strong and has only needed to be cleaned once when it was getting a little dim and it snapped right back to mint condition after the heads were cleaned. The only drawback for me is the battery doesn't last very long. I get about a day and a half of charge before I need to recharge it. Recharge is fast, about an hour and it has a full charge, but it would be problematic during an extended power outage or on a camping trip because after a day and a half, if I don't have a power source for recharging that's easily accessible, no more lighter. Overall am happy with purchase. UPDATE 2024: I bought this lighter in 2021 and love it, especially that it is wind proof which in Texas where I live is a big deal, love it so much I wore the 2021 lighter out and just bought a new one and am so happy it is still available.

Best one I've bought and/or used in my 60 years of smoking!
Update! I like it so much, today I ordered another one. I smoke a lot of cigs (too many according to my peers) and this way I'll always have one charged and as a spare in case I misplace the other one. I gave it 5 stars because it is the best electric lighter I've seen or used and I have used many of them. The only negative is battery life before it needs recharging again. But it recharges quickly which shows it is the small battery size that is the problem. So one must decide what suits them most, a larger heavier size or this light compact size. The main reason, IMO, it is the best is because of its unique protruding electrodes which makes it easier to light a cigarette plus their placement at the end of the case rather than centered. Also, the 4 neon blue lights which are only on when its open keeps you updated on charge left. For those chain-smokers who can't wait a couple of minutes for a partial charge to light up, buy two of them, they're inexpensive, or look for one with a larger battery size.

Terrible battery life!
This is an amazing electric lighter, but I use it like 10 times and it's already dead. Then takes 2 hours to charge. Almost makes it useless, only really necessary for emergencies. Other than that I enjoy the idea of it.

Best electric lighter
The best lighter ever. It still works in the wind. It can be used for a while with out having time charge it. It also true to size for a normal lighter. The lighter is very quiet and has the best design and finish to hold in hand.
