The disc that arrived looked nothing like the picture, being an almost plain white disc. installation instructions "insert disc, choose version, wait" level. Be aware this is a reinstallation disc , if your computer was originally anything other than win 7, this disc probably wont work as your computers licence wont be within the range this looks for. Also when installing be awar that while it will install the level of win7 or below you originally had , it wont install a higher spec (My laptop was a 2011 windows 7 home edition, when i tried using this to go from my upgrade win 10, back, I tried reverting to 7 proffessional but the install failed, i found it would install win 7 basic and home and thats it, i tried it on my old tower (originally win7 pro) and it installed fine.) so dont look to using this to upgrade from win7 basic to pro. this disc did what was required BUT no thanks to the all but none existant instructions. you dont need a tech to use this but you do need some comp savvy. Be aware that any appsor files including previous win7 files will be lost as once you use this you will be left a clean drive and windows 7, also should you decide to go back to win10, you will need to buy that seperately as there is no free upgrade, finally be aware microsoft does not offer any support or services for win7, in fact this disc disabled my modem making my computer offline only. So consider carefully before using.

I have a lot of old Windows PC games that no longer work on Windows 10 or 11 etc. So I put this on my old Windows 7 PC which had its OS corrupted. It worked well although you may need a little more than basic knowledge to load it. Sadly 6 months later the PSU went boom and not worth repairing..

I ordered this as a new windows install for. Recently reset system. On loading it’s asking for drivers which it’s supposed to provide but it doesn’t. It’s utterly useless. I looked at the support note sent with the disc and it takes me to a poor few photos of a piece of paper with instructions on. This is not good enough.

The windows 7 64 bit OS didn't work, gave a file location error so ive installed Windows 7 Home which worked fine. The Activation part of the disk is brilliant, the OS automatically Activated once installed without any interaction. On the whole, good, just a shame I'm having to run Home interested of Pro.

Windows 7 installed easily it came with SP1 included and not having to use an activation code was also welcome. However my main issues were some important drivers were missing and that I could not update as Internet explorer does not work and that Microsoft have ended all support for all of windows 7.Even after installing a different browser (Firefox) which then allowed me to use the internet, Windows update would still not work (Error Code 80072 EFE), after some research I found a couple of updates to manually install (from the Microsoft update catalog) that then allowed the updates to automatically download.For the most part Windows 7 now works but there are some issues with installing some programs onto the hard drive it will not run setup.exe , but I can get around that by using the msconfig utility.I only use Windows 7 for some of my older programs which will not work on Windows 10 but at least I can now use them again.Also a big plus with this installation disc is that it has all the different versions of Windows 7 32 & 64 bit on it.

Our HP portable for Windows 7 got slower and slower and s-l-o-w-e-r. We used the disk to restore its ex-factory condition, and bingo!, it's as good as new.

This disc is so easy to use and, as a result, is so user friendly. I would recommend this disc as opposed to costly computer repair bills, you just simply insert the disc and follow the on screen directions. It's that simple.

Used it to reinstall windows 7 from a corrupted registry error. It detected the original activation key so was a smooth process and suitable for just about anyone.
