Save Yourself the $$
If you have any of the Aquasana filtration systems, these are less expensive then going through the manufacturer's site, and seem to be exactly the same as they sell. These filters (and the shorter counterparts if you have the pre and post-filter system) are good for 3-6 months depending on your usage. I have not had any issues over the years.

Good bye water pressure
Do they filter? Yes, fantastically. However.... setup post water pressure head tank on a well as instructed the water pressure in my house is now horrible. Better not use a sink while showering or flush. Pressure sqitch and head tank all setup correctly. It just filters too well apparently... filters out the pressure.

The Aquasana system is great and affordable!
These are the pre-filters for my Aquasana whole house filter. This is an affordable good quality water filtration system. These are the pre-filters, they say to change them every 3m but if you have less than 4 people in the house, can last up to 6m easily I find.
