Beautifully, well-crafted leather pouf!
I ordered this leather pouf and waited expectantly for it to arrive. It was even better than I'd hoped for, and I ended up ordering another one, and just hoping they would match somewhat! The second one was perfect as well, and matched wonderfully. The workmanship is amazing, with great attention to detail. The value based on what they cost is a welcome aberration, based on the runaway inflation on everything else we buy! These really are gorgeous pieces to add to your home... the stitching is so precise, I also look at them as a kind of artwork, as well as serving a purpose. The only issue I have is that the last pouf that came has a bit of a pronounced fold, all the way around the middle of the outside. These come folded and un-stuffed, so I can see how that might happen, despite the high quality, thick leather. I'm hoping it will eventually flatten out... it's not too horribly noticeable. Overall, I'm VERY HAPPY with these purchases! This merchant obviously cares about providing a quality product to his customers. If you're on the fence about purchasing one of these, I encourage you to make the purchase... you won't be sorry!

Perfect accent piece
Perfect pouf for extra seating and resting your feet. The leather is nice and thick, and stiff, so you can stuff it withe pretty much anything and it won't show any odd bulges. I used old clothes, sheets, and pillows. The zipper is sturdy and like other reviews have mentioned, uncovered. Tape over it if you are concerned about scratches.I bought two and one smells like regular leather, the other has a really faint barnyard smell. Just put it outside for a few days to let it air out.Shipping was prompt and DHL delivered it surprisingly quickly - I received it in less than a week.I'm thrilled with my pouf and it adds a beautiful touch to my eclectic living room.

Perfect!
This pouf is perfect; it exceeds all expectations. I received it as a Christmas gift and could not be happier--one of the best gifts ever! I've wanted a leather pouf for years, and this is the prettiest one I've ever seen. I did not attach a photo because mine looks like all the others pictured in reviews. It's a wonderful rich, medium brown--very natural looking because there is slight variation between each panel of the pouf and the next. Soft and smooth to the touch, feels great on bare feet. Stitching is an off-white color, like twine. Our carpeting is very light and the pouf leaves no marks when moved around. Yes there is an odor to the leather, but just chill out and be patient because it will fade over time. We filled ours with 10 pounds of poly-fil, and it is very plump and taut. You could probably get a couple more pounds into it if you like, but I like the way mine looks. When you squish your feet into it, it bounces back to perfect shape afterward, because of the poly-fil. Other stuffings may not do that, especially Styrofoam beads. We spent about $25 on the filling. You can't get a better deal for a quality leather pouf. Everyone who sees it loves it. Highly recommended.

Just what I needed!
I really like my Moroccan leather pouf, but I gave it a 4 -star only because I wanted to alert potential buyers to the possibility that yours may arrive with a very strong goat odor! Think "Barnyard Billy Goat!" While this certainly attests to its authenticity that it is made from goat leather as advertised, it can have a strong odor that may be hard to live with, if you are not fond of Billy goats! However, there is hope!! I eradicated the odor in just a day or so with the following cure: I cleaned the leather with a good leather cleaner/conditioner first. Then, I sprayed the pouf inside and out with Fabreeze. (I had to repeat the Fabreeze treatment a couple of times). Finally, when I stuffed the pouf, I added Bounce dryer sheets around the inside against the leather before adding the fill. It has now totally lost its offensive Billy goat smell, and I love it! It is as comfortable as it is beautiful. The stitching and craftsmanship as well as the beauty of the leather are well worth the trouble in getting rid of the odor!

Quality Product, Great Seller
I received this pouf free via promotion; I purchased two others at an earlier time from the same seller. The shop owner is polite and responds quickly to questions. The pouf is excellent quality. I could smell the leather as I opened the packaging, and it lingered for several days. The stitching is consistent and sturdy. The embroidery on the top is symmetrical and sturdy as well; even after months of use, the embroidery still looks new. Keep in mind these do not ship filled, which is the case for all quality/authentic poufs I've shopped around for. I filled mine with styrofoam "bean" bag filler from a chain craft store; it creates a comfortable, not-too-soft-or-firm seat (or footstool). I stitched the zipper shut to be certain it wouldn't open when moved around or various people sit on it. In general, this is not necessary and the zipper stays closed on its own. I also put brown duct tape across the bottom seam so the zipper doesn't scratch wood floors; this works well and the tape is not visible unless the pouf is turned upside-down. For those who have carpeted floors or aren't worried about potential scratches, the tape is not a concern. In all, I LOVE my poufs and would recommend this shop/item to anyone.

Quality Product - First-rate Value
This handmade Moroccan Leather Pouf Hassock is an extremely well made product. I purchased the lower-priced, unfilled leather shell version as I wanted to stuff it to extra firmness for appearance and personal comfort. Upon receipt, the goatskin leather did have a somewhat mild "leathery" odor. However, after a few weeks of airing out the smell was totally gone and the piece looks beautiful as well as being practical. I liked the idea that I could customize the appearance of this piece by the amount of stuffing used to fill it. Also, the bottom zipper allows you to add or remove more stuffing as needed. I found this product to be much better than expected and a first-rate value for the price.
