Fuller Brush Spiffy Maid Bagless Broom Vacuum Cleaner

This is by far the best vacuum I have ever owned. No jokes. Let me explain.The suction power is AMAZING! Literally, my entire cat was in the bin canister (I meant fur, relax folks). It is PERFECT for low cut area rugs. I thought it might do poorly without a beater brush, but I was so shockingly wrong! It cleans area rugs so unbelievably well! I can't stop with the exclamation marks because me and my entire family are IN LOVE with this red sleek power house of a vacuum.Floors? Perfect. It is so easy to maneuver it in small tight corners. Did I say it has powerful suction power? Yep, reminding you again.For the people complaining it is hard to clean, do you expect a $100 vacuum to cook your bacon and eggs as well? Come on folks. Stop being lazy. It is quite easy to clean it once you get the hang of it.VERY IMPORTANT TIP TO MAKE YOUR VACUUM RUN LIKE NEW EVERY TIME:I use a hand vacuum to clean the filter. Now, you can dust it off like it says in the instructions. Hell, you can use the attachment hose on your big vacuum to clean the filter. It works like new every time. In fact, the suction is so powerful that it lifts up my big carpet area rug by the edges when I vacuum.The design is sleek, light weight, has a 30 ft cord which is a huge plus, and it is the definition of a perfect stick vac. Where have you been all my life?Cons: I wish it was made in the USA! This is my first Fuller Brush product and I am sold! Please, Fuller Brush, make this vacuum in the USA! I am willing to shell $200 just to be proud that I am supporting USA manufacturers.

Have been using this almost every day since the beginning of July. It is the best vacuum I have every used. I have a very large vacuum with a beater bar that does not even compare to this one. The vacuum is light-weight and powerful. We have hard wood, concrete and very low pile area rugs. It works equally well on all of them. I took out the old monster yesterday thinking that it maybe time for the beater bar but I really like the way this machine works better. It does not tear up the fringe on the carpets either. Simple to empty and easy to use the attachment. It does not have a beater bar but does not need one. It works well right up against the wall, too. I have been recommending it to my friends.

We use ours for quick jobs (to save getting out our main vacuum which is about the size of a small car engine), like cleaning up dogs hair (4 dogs), which gathers around the house resembling tumbleweeds, and the bird seed coming from our indoor aviary. It would be nice to have a swivel head but the vacuum is light enough to maneuver wherever you want it to go, it travels easily and the extra long cord is a good feature. We have wood and tile floors, for which this vacuum is perfect, as well as doing a fairly good job on the few rugs scattered around, though to pick up dogs hair from the rugs we do need to resort to our full sized vacuum. This Fuller Brush is a nice machine, with a classy look and though the dirt container is quite small it's easy to empty....Update, April 17.. Unfortunately the plastic on this machine has fulfilled its task. The sleeves holding on the wheels have both shattered so they will no longer stay put. Instead of designing a replaceable sleeve, which would have allowed for repair, the wheel bearing sleeves are moulded as an integral member of the vacuum base, which isn't available. As real incomes for most haven't increased in at least a decade plastic allows for cheaper products, but they are far less durable. When i left home my parents' canister vacuum had been going for 20 years, 30 years later it's still going strong, and that wasn't unusual with all things made back then. So welcome to the new age. All you own will be shiny new but you and your family will have to work constantly to sustain it.

I was looking for a new vacuum that would pick up dog fur from two large dogs on my new hardwood floors. I own a Dyson that works great on my rugs, but scratches my floors. After researching products I chose this one. The Fuller brush company is here in the U.S. It has SO much suction. Picks up literally everything right up to the floorboards. No scratches on the floor! It is also really light weight. I have lymphedema in my right arm, so my Dyson makes vacuuming literally painful. The Spiffy Maid is easy to maneuver and move, I can use either arm easily. It even gets around the toilet or I can lift it up on my couch. I was surprised to see how much it picked up off my area rugs. The canister is small, but it is very easy to empty, so not an issue. It stands on it's own so you don't have to lean it on anything. This is a GREAT product at this price point. (I think the name "Spiffy" makes it sound lame). AWESOME!!!!

I really liked this vacuum. I bought it to clean up small messes on the slate floor under my kitchen table. The suction was better than I thought it would be for a stick vac. However, the engine is loud; think small shop vac/car vac loud. Also, whatever you suck up is constantly swirling around as you vacuum. So if you pick up dry dog food pieces or kid's cereal, you are going to hear them rattling around the whole time you are vacuuming. It is easy to use and easy to clean, even the filters. The cord is a good length. Good product.

About a year ago, I got rid of all my carpeting and replaced it with tile and laminate wood. Until recently I was using a large canister vacuum that was very tedious to use and then used a floor steamer that had a vacuum feature as well. I decided to purchase this vacuum due to the fact that a lot of the reviews said that it had great suction and also because the floor steamer I was using had poor suction and would not get any dust or debris from the corners of base boards.. Well.... I am here to say that these reviews are correct. I am amazed at how strong the suction is and how efficiently it cleans all my flooring. It is also light and easy to assemble and gets the job done quicker than when using the canister or steamer. I love, love, love this product and would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone who wants a vacuum that does a thorough and excellent job.

Still have the older version of this vacuum, and bought this updated version for use at the cottage. LOVE the new "polishing" feature, and am very pleased with the affordability, reliability and performance of both Fuller vacuums!
