Belleek 2050 Claddagh Make-Up Bell

This is a beautiful bell and I have given this as part of a wedding gift to at least 4 people. The only thing is that there is nothing included that shares the bell's purpose -to ring when you cannot end an arguement. So I solve that by writing it in a card but other than that it is beautiful.

Well, I will start by saying I should have read the product description more closely than I did--it's smaller than I expected! That being said, I love it! I got this to give my sister as a wedding gift and I am absolutely in love--I know she will be, too. Feel like I need to get a couple more to keep on hand for future weddings. Very elegant, well-wrapped in a decorative box, and the story card is lovely.

The bell is very nice but it did not include a story of the make up bell and how to use it. It includes a card which gives the meaning of the Claddaugh but not the meaning of the make up bell. I had to find it online and include it with the bell

I love design quality and purpose. Everyone needs a makeup bell! Don’t go to bed angry. It words 63 years for me!

the quality was super. I wish that I had come with an explanation of the history of a wedding bell (one that I purchased 3 or 4 years ago did) but the bell itself was wonderful. Good quality

First of all I would like to say that this item shipped extremely fast. I ordered it Monday, and it came today, Wednesday. Last but not least, this bell is absolutely beautiful. I have always loved the Claddagh, and reading about Irish tradition. I really hope that my friend likes it, and appreciate the trading of the bell as much as I do.

this is a great gift for a newly engaged couple.

Received this as a wedding gift and it had been a cherished item for 17 years. Over the years it has been used for its main purpose, to gently alert my loved one that what ever our differences were, they pale in comparison to the love we have for one another, and it generally worked well at signaling a time for a hug. Unfortunately, these last couple of months have put a strain on our relationship, and when I last tried to ring the bell, instead of its sweet chime, the only sound it can make is a “think.” I pray this isn’t a sign of the future and it is only the faeries playing a trick on me. If it is, it is really not nice, as my dear love is sleeping on the couch by her own will as I write this.If anyone has any suggestions on how to make it ring again, I would be great full.
