I bought this to replace an old one I had. I use it mostly for working on motorcycles. Very handy, gets light in tight spaces, and is magnetic on both ends, great for finding and picking up those nuts and bolts that disappear into the depths of the bike. Well constructed and durable. Highly recommend this handy tool.

I like the expandable head and magnet to hold it where I need it. The light is not as bright as I’d like but it gets the job done.

If you try to point the head sideways at a ninety degree angle, with the extension rod horizontal, the head droops as the rod rotates at the connections. Non-rotating joints would require grooved tubes and a nub at the joint - probably preposterously more expensive. So maybe masking tape temporarily at the joints in situations where it is worth the effort, taking it back off again to collapse the extension. Eventually maybe crud buildup at the joints would reduce the problem - faster with masking tape residue.Replacing the batteries is no big deal if you are sitting down indoors, but I would not want to do it standing out in the mud and rain. If a 4LR44 battery (which as you might surmise is equivalent to 4x LR44) fit in the battery compartment, that would be wonderful, but flashlight makers some to eschew 4LR44 batteries.I posted a video to answer one of the questions about changing batteries. I'd have posted it here, too, along with an image of a 4LR44 next to this flashlight's battery tube with 4x LR44, but for several weeks, maybe months, I haven't been able to upload images or videos to Amazon.Sad# addendum #- added images by editing on phone- backup battery issue semi-satisfactorily solved by wrapping stack of four LR44 (aka AG13, et al) with tape

I'm a big fan of this flashlight and have purchased them for myself and as gifts. It's a great go to for quick DIY and car repairs because of the magnetic base. The size and weight is terrific for pocket or clipping on your lanyard. At 100 Lumens you get a lot of illumination here both with the penlight and side light.We keep them in the car, toolbox, walking jacket, bedside, and emergency kits. This is a good price for a really good product. With regular use, remember to check your batteries at least one a year on these.

This flashlight is great - flexible, bright, handy. Drawback - I can't keep one. Friends who see mine want one, and I end up giving them mine and have to reorder another one. The recipients l-o-v-e this small flashlight. Two friends ended up needing and using their new flashlight within two days of receiving it. One friend picked up a part that dropped where she couldn't get it, but was able to because of the extension and magnetic end. Great value for the money.

I have two of these and I love them . Very handy especially with the magnetic end to reach into tight places to retrieve screws bolts and nuts.

This is nice quality. Wish it was a bit skinnier for tighter spaces. Light is decent and the magnet is strong for its size.
