Not for me
Hmm, 🤔, not sure exactly what it is that's special about this item. Ok, first of all, let me start by saying that I don't have any injuries or surgeries on my belly? I bought it cos I learnt the material will be more kind to my skin and just needed a belt to push in my tummy a bit. Now I must say the material is so lovely and would have been great if it worked for me. Now the thing is, even if i don't have an injury, I still don't expect it to bulge out at places and not have a good velcro fastening system? From my observation, I think that the slimmer you are, the better or even better the straighter/flatter your belly is, the better, as in, if you don't have big belly or bulges, you'll be fine with this belt. I don't think it's made to withstand bulges at all. Everywhere I have bulge on my belly bulges out, unlike normal fat burning belts. It's so well made for the purpose that I'm almost thinking that those bulges have to be there cos if you had an injury, I guess the belt bulging out where your injury is needed 🤷♀️ I don't know, just thinking out loud. It's really annoying to wear tho. Even to get the velcro to fasten smoothly like a normal sweat belt without it bulging too is almost impossible. Everything they said this belt doesn't do is what it does. I can't really advise on whether this item is recommendable or not cos I don't have surgery to see how differently it would have felt but all I know is that it's not a good belly belt tho material is kind, which obviously explains why it is for post surgeries. And one more thing, stick to your size. If you are 107cm waist, get the L which I think ends in 109cm. Don't even bother going XL which extends to 121cm so you have more space. Nope. The belt is so stupidly made that the velcro straps don't let u benefit from the extra space. I don't know how to explain it but there is the extra space obviously but no velcro extended to enable u tighten it more if you wanted, so you are limited in what you can do with it. To avoid this, if you are 107cm like me, go for 109cm L size. If u r 120cm waist, go for XL 121cm. Period.

Great for recovering after a run
I tend to get aches and pains in my lower back and sides after a run, but wearing this while running, and for a time afterwards, helps to minimize those effects. It means I'm recovered and ready for another run early the next day, and suffering less later that evening.Don't worry too much about the sizing on these - not only do they stretch quite a lot, but the velcro fastening fixes anywhere along the belt. If you're at all unsure about your size, I'd go for a larger one than you need as you'll be able to fix it smaller if you need to. Either way it's easy to put on and stays in position even with running. I'd fasten it quite tight for the best results.Quality is excellent, clearly well made, and I can't see it falling apart any time soon. It's hand washable, which is pretty easy to do, then pack it back away in its plastic sleeve ready for next time - perfect. The only slight drawback is there's quite a strong smell from it straight out of the packaging. It's not terrible, it's a very "clean" smell, probably from the material used, but it is a bit overpowering. However, once it's on under clothes you don't notice it and the smell doesn't transfer to you when you're wearing it.Very comfortable in use, the material feels soft against your skin and you barely notice it once it's on. I guess if you're wearing very tight fitting clothes you'd probably notice the outline underneath, but I wear a loose t-shirt over the top and it's thin enough that it's basically invisible.

Very good
Very good support for back and abdomen after laparotomy surgery. I started wearing this , after 10 days of surgery and it is making moving around easier with noticeable support.
