This is a hard cover book with 64 pages measuring 28cmX22cmX1cm. The content is organized in 58 sections such as Inside you body , Your brain and nerves ,Seeing , Hearing , Touch and so on. Each section is two pages ,one on left side and the other on right side. The pages are very colorful containing big nice color photos and diagrams and brief child friendly language. My kids loved this book.

Usborne is LOVE
A must-have! This series of First Encyclopedia for kids is amazing. I love Usborne books in general. I also bought First Encyclopedia of our world and FE of dinosaurs for my son. Planning to also acquire the FE of science and history. Great illustrations and well-explained things for kids understanding. Prompt delivery by the seller.

Fantastic book for adults and kids!!
This book - is - fantastic. As a student for advanced clinical nutrition and various other health studies (as an adult!) I NEEDED something SIMPLISTIC. THIS IS IT! It's VERY well done, GORGEOUS images/photos - examples. VERY clear and simple explanations. It's exactly what I needed to support my studies. When you have 'adult' courses (text books) I feel they tend to be over done with too much information (beyond what I need in order to even just grasp certain ideas or concepts) - with this book, it helps to substantiate my endeavours. FOR KIDS - I can see this being a fantastic introduction to the human body. VERY clear explanations (even I can get them!! LOL) But overall - if I could give this ten stars I would!! Highly recommended for youths and adults!! Great book!!

Very Well Done Intro To The Human Body
Bright and colorful first comes to mind when I opened this encyclopedia of the human body. It's very well laid out and touches on just about every topic a small child would need to know. The pages are large and the paper is thick. This is no magazine. My children loved the book and I even learned a few things. The book has a feature called "Internet-Linked". How does an Internet-Linked book work? Usborne Internet-Linked books serve as a gateway to knowledge for fact-hungry children. Visit the website listed in the front of the book and enter the book and page number you are interested in learning more about. This site will provide you web addresses of safe, content appropriate websites you can visit to research a subject in a fun and informative way. I was quite impressed on the chapter about babies in the womb - they actually called them babies. You may not realize that but in today's PC world that is very rare. Each chapter is two pages long but covers quite a bit. The index was a surprise on a children's book. Make sure you click on Amazon's picture above and take a look inside the book. I think you'll be very pleased with this book.
