This may be the highest priced weighted bookmark on Amazon. You sure get what you pay for. Very high quality, beautiful stitching and heavier than my others. Comes in a box ready to gift but this is for myself but I appreciate it all the same.

What can I say? It does exactly what you'd expect while looking beautiful. I read around 400 pages a week of various books, and this has significantly helped in ergonomics. I often take notes, so having a book weight that holds my page in place is an absolute must. Sure, there are cheaper options - but I'm a buy it for life kind of person. The build quality is superb, and the leather smells and looks nice. Also can double as a home defense weapon if you need (Mostly kidding, but it is heavy). I can recommend this to anybody who is an adamant reader. I suppose it could also work as a simple paperweight as well, if you're a fan of high quality leather products.

If there is an item that would seem to be un-necessary this would be it. No, it is great. I use it to hold a book open, a journal open, to keep loose papers from flying accross the room ...and if I am ever attacked in the library, I will be ready. And it is beautifully designed and constructed.

Nicely finished book weight. It's heavy enough to hold down pages from paper or hard back books. Smooth leather finish on top and the sueded side on the bottom to grip the paper all the better. It looks good. Not too big. Not too heavy. Leather in middle is flexible. I've seen some people cite this as a drawback, but I don't see it that way. Fits in my Brenthaven laptop case with no problems. I'd recommend it.

Best bookweight I have used! It is designed so that the size, proportions and weights can easily hold a variety of book sizes open. It is made of high quality leather and expertly crafted. Further, it is packaged in a classy box with a cloth around it and an elastic wrap to hold it shut. It would be a great gift for both its utility and presentation.

This is a nice high quality product. It is too light to be a great product. Leatherology....take note...add about 25 to 50 percent more weight and you will have a great product. Did you talk to people who read books?
