I purchased this because of the hi visibility orange (easy to find if dropped or amongst my other gear) and I really like the grip contours that let your hand wrap around without needing rubber inlays or abrasive texture.Super light weight and the scalpel blades are good - if you have a strop , a few strokes will make them great.The liner lock is also good - locks securely and not overtravelled, well done!

I have a side business doing European skull mounts and got this knife to skin out an de-flesh skulls. Knife works great and the blades are razor sharp. They will get dull pretty quick when cutting around the bone. I usually get one blade out of a skull that I skin out and de-flesh. I’ll with switch out the blade or give it about 10 swipes on each side on a ceramic rod sharpener and it’s good to go again. The blades are thin enough that they sharpen quick if you are trying to minimize your replacement blades. I also skinned out and quartered a whitetail with one blade and it was still sharp
