I purchased this as a Christmas/hostess gift for a friend that likes to entertain. She actually had a party and I took appetizers on it then left the plate for her.

Bought these as gifts and they loved them. So did I. Want to buy more items with this design for next Christmas.

A classic! Nice solid tray, with a well-printed graphic and a funny little story behind it. Feels strong. There's a minor flaw in the glaze - just a bump - but nothing major.

I have been collecting the Spode Christmas tree pattern for many years. It is of excellent quality and so enjoyed by my family every year.

This is a beautiful serving tray and collector’s piece. I didn’t know about the long-standing Christmas Tree collection going back to 1938, but I might have to add it into my Christmas traditions, maybe add one new piece a year.The color is slightly off white, giving it a nice vintage look. The tree design adds to that, though the tree seems to be the same on all pieces in this collection so it would make sense to look vintage since it was designed in the 1930s. It all works to make this tray look like you could have inherited it from your grandmother.It’s a smaller serving tray, though not small by any means. It’s perfect for cookies, small appetizers, all kinds of things. Its just right for holding a good amount but not taking up all the counter space like a big platter might.It arrived very well protected and in perfect condition. I was excited to unbox it and get my first look, and I was not disappointed.I just love the overall simple, elegant, homey, and warm look and feel. It would look equally appropriate in a casual setting or in a more formal Christmas gathering. I can’t wait to use it this holiday season.

Spode has been making tableware forever. Actually since 1770! The Christmas tree design apparently has been around since 1938. This particular tray design since 2011. It is a serving tray that is nicely shaped and finished. There was a slight mistake in the pattern as seen in the picture. Most people would probably miss it.
