ECLAB 10BSPP2.2 Microbe Lift 4.4 Pound Pond Barley Straw Pellets

Be aware that this box contains 2.2 lb. of barley straw pellets NOT 4.4 lb. The product line description is not clear: “Microbe-Lift ECLAB 10BSPP2.2 4.4 lb Pond Barley Straw Pellets”. I have used barley straw pellets in my pond for years and they do a good job keeping the water clear. This is a different brand but the pellets look the same. The instructions on their website say to scatter the pellets and they will eventually sink to the bottom but I’m going to continue to use a mesh bag (not included) to contain them. Don’t need more sludge at the bottom of the pond.
