This scratching post is a hit for my 2 cats, they love it!! It’s a great height for my cats to stretch out while scratching, and the base feels sturdy and stable. My cats started using it right away. It was also easy to put together and doesn’t take up much space. I wish it came with double towers so both cats could enjoy it at the same time!!

This, along with the Vetreshka fruit tree, I, and my cats, are so obsessed with I bought them twice. I was moving across the country and it was the night before the UHaul would be picked up, taken and drove away, many days before we would arrive. I had nearly all of our (yes, me and the cats) belongings packed in the UHaul and I felt so guilty looking at my forlorn children in their strange empty house. This cat scratching post, since the day I bought it has been one of their favorite things. They IMMEDIATELY flung to it, climbed it, attacked it, batted the ball, then got the zoomies. Since then, it was one of few things and so extremely un-cat-like -- that they use it every single day. They've never got bored of it. Every time, just as excitedly. Sometimes they literally take turns or will scratch the opposing side at the same time together and it's adorable. In the night-time zoomies, they always have a brief pause to scratch at the post. I don't know how, it's been 1.5 years now that I've had it, the sisal or whatever rope is used is still in perfect condition after every day use. With that being said, before deciding to keep it last minute at the home so they had something familiar and to entertain them, I urgently checked that it was still in stock. It was, so I immediately ordered another one set to arrive the same day the cats and I did in our new home. The day I was leaving, I gave this to my family because it's such a treasure. I have never had a sturdier cat tree. I have a Maine Coon mix, he is gigantic, this thing doesn't budge. I will say -- the first one I bought, was easy as pie to set up. The second one was a puzzle from hell. I wanted to burn it to the ground. For whatever reason, half of the holes did not align, nonetheless, with the memory of my cat's joy, I persevered and it continues to be used every day.

Our kittens absolutely love this scratching post, and we’re very happy with it too! The material is good quality, it feels sturdy and well made, and it stays stable even when they’re climbing and playing on it. They love scratching it, climbing all the way up, playing with the hanging toy, and sitting on top. As you can see from the pictures and video, they definitely approve! 😻 We’re very happy with this purchase and would recommend it.

My kitten was about 4 months old when we set this up. He was climbing every chair and couch in the house, driving us crazy. I've never had a scratching "tower" for my cats, always just a spot somewhere on a cat tower and I wasn't sure he would even know how to use it. The post itself is pretty sturdy. I got the smaller one, so the top platform was only 6 inches by 6 inches. I knew if this one worked I could get a bigger one later. Now the good news. He LOVES this tower! He jumped on it right away and began climbing! He's 6, almost 7 months now so he's getting bigger but he LOVES this tower! He is on it daily, scratching constantly and laying over the top platform. And it's very durable. I wasn't sure if he would even like the material for the scratching, it wasn't siscal rope or carpet but again, he absolutely loves it! It really holds up to his sharp nails. I have it sitting on carpet so it's a little wobbly when he runs and jumps on it, but it would probably do much better on a flat, hard floor. Heck, he doesn't even mind when it does wobble, he just clings to it like some big prey he just brought down! LOL. Bottom line, great quality of scratch material, carpet material and even the little swing ball. I would buy this again and again.

This is actually one of the nicer looking ones that I’ve come across. It’s substantial and heavy! No issues with missing parts, and assembly took just a few minutes. For some reason, my cat won’t use horizontal scratchers, he’ll only use the vertical posts like this one. He uses this A LOT, and so far, you’d never know that by looking at it. It seems to be extremely durable. The color is neutral, and the small, overall footprint it takes up means you have much more options of where to put it…whether it’s in a corner, middle of the room, or against the wall.

This cat scratching post is perfect for my cat’s long stretch. I’ve never seen another one this tall and sturdy. It’s very well made. Easy to assemble. The cats and kittens love it and it allows my long cat to get that big stretch she desires and was using my wall for.

Ich habe den Amazon Basics Kratzbaum (ca. 40 × 40 × 90 cm) einige Wochen in Gebrauch und möchte meine Eindrücke teilen. Qualität & Material: Der Kratzbaum wirkt robust verarbeitet – die Basis ist schwer genug, dass er auch bei kräftigem Bespringen stabil bleibt. Der Teppich‐Bezug fühlt sich angenehm an und ist weich genug für Pfoten, strapaziert aber auch nicht zu schnell. Krallenpflege & Kratzverhalten: Meine Katzen nutzen vor allem den Teppich und die Seitenflächen intensiv zum Kratzen. Das Material bietet genug Widerstand, ohne die Krallen übermäßig zu beschädigen. Es erfüllt seinen Zweck, Möbel und Teppiche zu schonen. Komfort & Nutzung: Die Höhe ist sehr praktisch: Oben kann eine Katze „überwachen“, und unten gibt es genügend Fläche zum Liegen oder Springen. Meine Katzen nutzen beide Ebenen – sowohl zum Ausruhen als auch zum Spielen. Aufbau & Handhabung: Der Kratzbaum ließ sich relativ einfach aufbauen; alle Teile waren dabei und passten gut. Wichtig finde ich, ihn gleich auf einem festen, ebenen Boden zu platzieren, damit nichts wackelt. Optik & Integration ins Zuhause: Das braune Teppichdesign ist neutral und fügt sich gut in Wohnbereiche ein, besonders wenn du warme Holztöne oder Erdtöne im Raum hast. Er fällt auf, aber nicht störend. Verbesserungsvorschläge: Einige Stellen könnten mit der Zeit stärker beansprucht sein – z. B. die Teppichfläche. Eine Option mit austauschbaren Teilen wäre toll, damit man z. B. die obere Liegefläche nach Jahren ersetzen kann. Fazit: Für Katzenbesitzer, die einen großen, stabilen Kratzbaum suchen, der sowohl zum Kratzen als auch zum Entspannen taugt, ist dieses Modell eine gute Wahl. Meine Katzen fühlen sich offensichtlich wohl damit – ich würde ihn wieder kaufen.

What. A. Buy. I have never had such an excellent cat post in my entire life! I’ve had cats for 20+ years and no post from the store matches up to this. Not only is it TALL but it’s WIDE and STURDY! My cat is quite large, he’s 25 pounds and quite tall and he can finally stand up and scratch something. Also the fact the rope is attached up and down instead of a spiral makes it last a LONG time without looking ratty or falling apart. I couldn’t recommend more! I got this for $55 tax in!
