If you need a spoke ruler, nothing else will do. I have used this to measure and sort batches batches of mixed length spokes. With this tool the process goes quickly, AND I don’t make measurement errors. The etched in markings don’t wear off like painted marks on other rulers.

Park tools are superior to most others. This one is no exception. It does exactly what I purchased it to do.

Easy to use for spoke length (I have only used for spokes with an elbow) but the color makes it hard to read, the numbers are etched but you need the right light and good vision. I may try rubbing a white crayon over it to see if that helps. It would be nice if it had notches to measure the spoke gauge, but it does not, separate tool needed for that.

New, looks exactly like pics. No fuss, just hang a J-bend spoke from the hole, read the length. Ball bearing gage is a nice feature for rebuilding old style wheels.
