I've been looking into LED strip lighting for a while to complete my lighting setup. I've tried some cheap LED light strips before but they never ever met the (already tempered) expectations I had for them and have always been let down by the overall quality. Not to be discouraged however, once I found this strip I decided to try it out. The main things I liked about the product were both the length (500 cm), the fact that it's waterproof which greatly increases it's use case and the simple to use yet very complete remote. I was not let down, the strip is long and made with a very strong adhesive, easy to fit and easy to operate. The thing that most stood out when I fitted it aside from the great ambience it created is the brightness and colour quality of the LED's. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a light strip and I'm already considering buying another one.

I'm a lover of all things neon so i've purchased alot of strip lights over the years, but these are excellent quality. The best I've ever come across. Firstly they have a VERY sticky back meaning you don't need to use adhesive to attach them, and when you pull them away from the surface they don't leave marks or tear anything. So ideal....I honestly thought the remote and colour options were just a gimmick and i would just end up using one or two colours. But i absolutely LOVE changing the colour to suit the mood or time of day!! And the remote makes it really handy to turn on and off in bed. I have some fitted behind our bed so i can breastfeed my baby in the night without disturbing my hubby. The remote lets you turn the lights up or down in brightness as well which i find really useful. The only tiny thing i can fault these lights on is they don't seem to have a true 'warm white' colour. The white setting is a little too white and the yellow setting is a bit too yellow, but the company do sell them in warm white only (I bought some of those as well and they are PERFECT) I would absolutely recommend these lights and i will def be buying them in future...I love them!

A decent LED kit at a fair price but not perfect. I bought 3 of these kits and in two of them the 12v supply plug was faulty at the earth pin. it seemed the plastic moulding was preventing the plug from fully seating into the socket...not a problem for a DIY enthusiast like myself but most people won't have a Dremel at home. I swapped the IR remote for a wifi receiver to connect to my Echo. Works great!

I bought two of these waterproof strips. They are REALLY well constructed the strips are of a surprisingly good quality I was impressed. I installed them on top of two sets of kitchen cabinets. Installation was super easy. Unfortunately, one strip performed better than the other. By this, I mean one strip was superb, but the other seemed to produce the same colour OK but just seemed to produce less vibrant colours. - a sort of weaker or brighter output. I contacted the manufacturer whose details were on the box and they immediately offered a few suggestions which did not work. So they kindly offered a replacement which arrived sooner than anticipated and matched the good one perfectly. I am very happy with my purchase and to be honest quite surprised at the great quality of support from GOVEE the manufacturer.

The light strip is very sturdy and comes with all the kit in one small box which is convenient. The lights themselves are superb, with options on the remote for various colors, color cycles, animations (fade, jump etc.) The strip puts out an amazing amount of brightness and this also has a control paramter on the remote for both dimmer and brighter. In my current setup I use the strip along the back of my desks and it does a fantastic job of illuminating the room.

I got these at the end of April and they were absolutely fantastic. They have a lot of colours and cool settings. However, they stopped working around the end of May. I thought the battery in the remote died, so I changed it. Nothing. I checked everything. The plug, the bit where you join the lights to the wire with the prongs (idk what it's called), and the little box thing. Nothing worked. I am disappointed that they broke so quickly and I would love new ones because I think I might have by chance got an off set, but I can't afford them. A refund or a replacement would be great, because it is a really good product otherwise. UPDATE: the seller sent me a replacement for free - which work well !! I have put them up again and they work. It was the actual lights themselves that had stopped working. I’ve had them up for just under two weeks now and so far so good - lets hope these ones last !! The seller is lovely too, very reasonable should anything go wrong :)

2 of the SMD’s have failed just after less than a month’s usage and now there is a noticeable light gap, only the blue has failed, before their failure when powered off there was a very dim illumination of all the blue LED’s above the cupboards and under the counters. Seemed to be a good kit compared to others available, adhesion was not the best and the surface preparation wipes provided were insufficient for a 10M installation, however 10M is enough to complete an under counter and above cupboard install. There were not enough LED strip supports for a under counter kitchen install, additional supports would need to be purchased. Over all it would have been an excellent kit if the LED’s did not fail.

Excellent for under cabinet lighting, very easily installed & extremely effective when in operation, The remote offers an amazing amount of colours and brightness levels all with great effect. This product offers many installation alternatives and much more value for money than many of the other Deck light types on offer.
