I don't think I would even want a smaller version of this massage tool. It fits in my palm perfectly, and the weight saves my fingers. I have a disorder called Dercum's Disease, and the only thing that eases my pain is massage, but my hands and fingers just can't stand the constant strain. This device is perfect, and it is small enough to take with me when I overnight at family homes. This is an incredibly simple design and very effective with the flatter side being good for "scraping" large muscles, the two opposite fingers for deep pinpoint massage, and the edges of the flat side if a very small pinpoint massage is needed. I very much appreciate this tool. Review: LOVE IT - I absolutely love this thing! It feels good in the hand and keeps me from being too strong. Using the muscle stripper (wide blade edge) keeps my strokes the same pressure and feels better than hands for that kind of deep work on knots. I use it a lot on the scalenes running from the clavicle to the mastoid and jaw and patients never complain (they do complain often about my hand strength on the neck). Added bonus is reduced thumb strain. All of the AcuForce massage tools are great. If you have small hands, try the red small star. ## Features - Manufacturer Information: Manufactured by Acuforce - Versatile Massaging Tool: Suitable for use by massage therapists, physical therapists, and individuals seeking at-home muscle relief - Country of Manufacture: Proudly made in the United States - Soft-Coated Metal Construction: Features a soft-coated metal design that provides comfort and control during use - Multi-Technique Therapy Applications: Professional-grade tool designed for various techniques including Gua Sha, muscle scraping, muscle stripping, and acupressure ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B003FW15VS | | Best Sellers Rank | #115,807 in Health & Household ( See Top 100 in Health & Household ) #351 in Manual Back Massagers | | Brand | Acuforce | | Brand Name | Acuforce | | Color | Multi | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 75 Reviews | | Form Factor | handheld with specific shape | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 1.5"L x 4.5"W x 4.5"H | | Item Highlight | Soft-Coated Metal, Multi-Technique Therapy Tool, Professional Grade | | Item Weight | 1.1 pounds | | Manufacturer | 3B Scientific Acuforce | | Manufacturer Part Number | 141381 | | Massage Therapy Technique | Acupressure, Scraping | | Massager Form | Massage Wand | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | Massage Star XL | | Model Number | 141381 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Cordless | | Power Source | Manual | | Product Benefits | Relief of muscle tension and stress | | Product Grade | Professional | | Specific Uses For Product | Trigger point therapy, Gua Sha, muscle scraping, muscle stripping, acupressure, muscle pain relief, relief of muscle tension and stress | | Style Name | Modern | | Target Use Body Part | Hands | | UPC | 603865019219 772195414077 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Use for | Hands | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Acuforce - **Item Weight:** 1.1 Pounds - **Material:** Plastic - **Power Source:** Battery Powered - **Use for:** Hands ## Images ![Acuforce Massage Star Trigger Point Massage Tool - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/512iOG1JomL.jpg) ![Acuforce Massage Star Trigger Point Massage Tool - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61II00ImWmL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great tool for the lay person too! *by W***M on November 27, 2019* Like another reviewer, I have very small hands, but I liked the idea of some of the weight of the device doing the work, so I ordered the "large" size. This XL model fits in my hand even better. And I find the "pointed" arm on the smaller version useless. This XL model replaced the point with another shape I find very useful.
