I am very happy but your mileage may vary.
These pans are definitely worth the (normally discounted %20) price for me. Will they be worth the price for everyone? No.You must first pay attention to the instructions for preparing these pans prior to first use. If done correctly, you should get a good idea of how they will perform over their life (the non-stick qualities MAY improve slightly over time with use for most). Remember that these are not fully coated in a non-stick coating and as such will not be as non-stick as you are likely used to.I made an honest effort to try to find a set of non-stick pans that I could be happy with for a long time. Over the years, I have come to learn that the term non-stick usually equates to disposable and I am no longer interested in another set of disposable pans. I used a combination of offered features, appearance and customer reviews to whittle my list down and then spent the past year purchasing the 8" fry pan offering from each of the manufacturers on my short list one by one until I was happy. I use an 8" fry pan more than any other and that is also my morning eggs pan so it is a good tester not to mention usually the cheapest option from most companies. My top qualities in order were as follows.1.) Induction capable2.) Quick and even heating/cooking3.) Comfortable handle after long cook times (low heating)4.) Oven safe to 500F5.) Easy to clean/maintain6.) AttractiveAmong those I compared were All-Clad HA1, All-Clad NS R2, Zwilling Forte, Calaphon Classic, T-Fal Ultimate HA. Most all the pans I tried covered the basics well enough so in the end, it came down to this; Level of non-stick vs longevity in my kitchen. With all the pans I tried, I followed the manufacturers recommendations for use. I did not use metal utensils for those that said not to and limited use with those that were okay with it. This also weighed in to my final decision as well since there was more compromising needed in the other pans to protect the coating. I still used a small amount of butter or oil in the pan when cooking which is normal for me regardless of type of pan. The HexClad pan was definitely the most durable, so I can count on years of good service with them. Even though the other pans were more non-stick, the level of non-stick I get from these pans is a more than adequate trade-off for the anticipated life I will get from them. Additionally, they do a better job with searing meats. In the end, I also went ahead and purchased the 10" and 12" pans as well as the glass lids for all 3 and am very happy with them. I do not require non-stick for my pots but if HexClad ever puts out a set of pots that at least reflect the same look as the pans, I will happily purchase them to round out my set.Of all the cookware I tried, this was the only one that required any real prepping/work outside of cleaning before first use.Of all the cookware I tried, this was the only one that was not fully non-stick.Of all the cookware I tried, this was the only one that did not end up with any scratches or marring of the surface.Of all the cookware I tried, this was the only one that held up well to being constantly stacked with other pans in my pots and pans drawer.Of all the cookware I tried, this was the only one with a unique but still attractive look to it inside and out.I hope this helps with your decision to buy or avoid these pans. If you are truly looking to replace a whole set of cookware, always buy the cheapest item in the set first and test it in your own kitchen if possible because everyone is different and "your mileage may vary".Pictures: 1.) Appearance after 1-2 months use. 2.) 8" after scrambled eggs. Not too messy and just a little sticking. 3.) 8" after quick wash with a soapy dish brush. No hard scrubbing.

Full stick pan
Not even worth free. Worst pan I've ever owned. Eggs stick like glue.

Not thrilled
I’m not thrilled. If your use to cooking on high temperature don’t get them. You have to cook on low. If the temperature is too high EVERYTHING sticks.

Sticky pan
Tried frying eggs, what a sticky pan, also handle is heavier than the pan, they use the same handle for all pans, so unless you have something in the pan it tilts toward the handle

Non stick? Nope!!!
I use this type of frying pan daily for my breakfast. I bought this one thinking it would be great. Nope!!! The center of the pan constantly stick to my food. I have tried different heat settings, with and without non stick spray. I have pans that cost half the price of this that work much better.

Lids not included
Lids were not included in this price. I bought 3 Skillet’s with the idea lids were included. I’m very disappointed.

Sticks a lot!
This item came, with NO lid, no instructions. I went online and found videos about this product. I followed their instructions on how to season and care for it. The very first time I used, the food stuck, badly. I re-seasoned it, 4 or 5 different times. It still stuck every time. I was so disappointed in this hexclad fry pan, especially after reading all the glowing reviews I had read.

Not very non-stick...
I really wanted to like this beautiful pan, which I mostly wanted to use for eggs/omelets. I followed the directions for seasoning, used very low heat, but eggs still stick rather than slide. It's not horrible, and I know it's not a non-stick pan per se, but it's not even as non-stick as stainless/clad pans. I'm going to keep trying in hopes it will magically improve, but so far it's a fail for that use.
