Good replacement for two previous switches although its worth checking the PoE voltage as it was different from the previous box I used.

TP-Link is the leader in this market, so the product itself was what one would expect. The service in delivering the product to me was excellent.

As a switch it does all it needs to do.However when it comes to mounting, the slot on the rear only is shaped as '¬' instead of '+'. Minor issue but still - it wouldn't cost them much more to give the installer a bit more leeway. Also, there is no method provided to wall mount the PSU. Why have the ability to wall mount the unit but not the PSU - where do they think it is going to be placed?

Great for creating a ‘Amanda’ wireless access point network in my house using the EAP225 PoE access points and the OC200 controller. All Ethernet connections are PoE. The PoE switching is automatic, so can still connect none PoE devices to this network switch.

Adequate, wish I'd paid more attention to the details. Does not provide SNMP monitoring of individual ports, not quite a managed switch, only 8 of the 16 ports are PoE. Fan cooled, would not want to use this in a domestic environment. Works well in the network it was intended for. Next time I will pay more attention and get all of the switch features I'd require.

yes, the IP address is set to 192.168.8.0.1 by default... it's a valid C class address and if your systems running on .1.x then you need to change it... mine runs on .8.x, so I expect to have to change it. it's replacing a non POE TPL switch. TP-Link produce excellent products.

Good switch but I really wanted one that could be controlled by Omada. Great POE switch but really want something with more management.
