KYB KIT 4 FRONT & REAR shocks / struts 1991 - 99 MITSUBISHI 3000GT

We're the original owners of my 1999 3000GT SL and my husband just replaced our original shocks/struts with this set of KYB G2/ExcelG (along with replacing the original springs & non-adjustable control arms with Eibach Pro springs and 3SX rear adjustable control arms).This KYB set installed perfectly. Just be sure to line up the holes on the struts or you'll have to replace them twice (there are holes in the strut seat & the mount at the top that need to be lined up before you install them back into your car). Although, on our struts, the top/mount actually had an oval "outline" of a hole, but others have mentioned they actually had a hole. Just be sure to line up which ever you have with the small hole in the seat/bottom and you should be fine. If they're not lined up, the mount at the top will scrape and you'll hear creaking & popping.As for the boots, as another review mentioned, no they are not included, but nothing on Amazon says they are.My 1999 3000GT SL only has 42,000 miles on it so the original boots are fine; we used our originals.(we actually did order new boots for all four shocks/struts that were guaranteed by Amazon to be delivered via two-day shipping...they weren't. It took twice that long, and we have Amazon Prime! By the time the boots arrived, my husband had already replaced all the shocks/struts/springs etc).

Good product since it is OE, but the rear shocks are not the right fit for the 1995 Mitsubishi 3000gt Spyder. The correct part number should be: 341184 (rear shocks only). Two rear strut boot kits are required to install, but are not included in this package. They must be ordered. Part number is; SB 108. Consider replacing the strut mounts in the front because you will need to replace them sooner or later.

They showed up fairly quickly and the ride quality is stiff and agile I needed this upgrade for Hey long time now.
