Saves Tires, Saves Fuel and no doubt Saves Lives / A Great American Made Product
A Great American Made Product, that saves tires, saves fuel and no doubt saves lives because of the many trucks that never lost control, because they had easy and automatic proper tire pressure equalization and easy read visual tire pressure alerts.I have installed about two dozen of these tire pressure equalizers on our Highway Semi Tractors and Tractor Trailers. They are easy to install, seem to last forever. The customer support is fantastic. These pressure equalizers are not a luxury. They are an economic bargain and a safety essential. Unless you have self inflating tires, you need this product. The tire savings alone will pay for them on the first set of tires.

Makes checking the tire pressures a snap
I bought 2 sets for the rear dualies on our "new to us" motorhome after fighting to just check the tire pressures. The cost for these wasn't that much more than SS extensions were. Installation wasn't that difficult, but I did need to drill out 1 of the holes on the mounting brackets in order to be able to angle the dials so I could simply peek through a hole in the hubcap to check the pressures. We did a 6, 000 mile cross country trip this past summer & they made checking the rear tire pressures a breeze! BTW, I never had to make any corrections to the pressures. The only down side I've found is I suspect they throw the wheel/tire balance out the window what with all that additional mass spinning and none of it was there when the new tires were balanced. I use that as an excuse to get the Mrs to SLOW DOWN when she's driving ;-o)) One other thing, the instructions state you MUST HAVE METAL VALVE STEMS to use these. I'm assuming they put too much stress on a rubber valve stem? Anyway, that could be a considerable expense if yours are rubber as mine were, but I was planning to replace the tires anyway & simply had them install metal valves @ that time.

Class C Dual Tire Problem Solved
I purchased this because of the difficulty in checking the tire pressure of the dual wheels of my Class C Winnebago View. I am very pleased with how easy the installation was, the quality of the product, and how it solved my problem! Here are my thoughts on the product:ADVANTAGESFor me, the main advantage is that I can now visually check the pressure of BOTH of my dual tires by looking at the large, easy to read gauge. I can easily fill BOTH of the tires at the same time with my portable Slime air compressor. The advantage of increased tire life and equalization of pressure are just a bonus!DISADVANTAGESCrossfire does not recommend you use the system with wheel simulators. For me, the less chrome the better and I like the look of the stock gunmetal wheels and have removed both front and rear simulators. You could purchase 16" wheel covers and snap them over the system as an option.

It obvious they didn't do an installation before selling it.
I bought this for my specific truck, however the only way to install it is to attach one of the supplied brackets to the axle bolt. The other bracket is for a lug bolt and it will not work on aluminum wheels, due to being concave shaped for a steel wheel. In order to attach it to an axle bolt, it requires a much longer "stud" so you can space the bracket out away from the raised center of the axle. They did not supply a stud with the kit and did not even state it would be needed. So off I go looking for a 12mm coarse thread 2 1/2 inch stud. I might as well have been searching for a sasquatch. No one in the Houston area has one. So I had to buy a SS 12mm bolt and cut the heads off. Which requires a very expensive SS saw blade for my sawzall. After spending $16 more for bolts, nuts and washers, and $20 for a blade, I made two studs. After that it went together good and seems to be working fine. Dual Dynamics needs to actually install some of these things to find out what it takes to make it hook up, then include what you need in the kit. Ok if they have to charge a little extra, no big deal. If I wasn't a dang good mechanic and fabricator, I'd had to box this thing up and ship it back.Another thing is the ad stated it would fit factory aluminum wheels, it will but you have to ditch the center hub cover, which ruins the looks of the wheel. So these things are actually for steel wheels, not aluminum. Another thing Dual Dynamics would know if they did an actual installation. Some different brackets would have made everything much easier. Both brackets are for steel wheels. So it looks like a good product, solid and well made, but the company was in a rush to sell it and did not do a field test. Before you buy it, you better get ready for some installation headaches if you have aluminum wheels.

on an RV...
this is one of the best items to have on rear rv duallies. it makes checking the tire pressure effortless, and with the check valve internally, I don't worry about losing both tire if a flat occurs. since there is no special valve stem required, the tire can still be rotated as needed, and there is no issue when placing the spare in service. The Crossfire shows both over inflation and under inflation, a feature that I like about these. I would highly recommend them. also, an external TPMS works just fine with hese devices.

I installed a set of the 60 PSI Crossfires on my 2008 Dodge Ram 3500. They are well made. They are simple to install. Now I can walk by and see if the pressure is correct from 10 feet away. And, I can put air in my tires almost anywhere -- no more need for a dual-foot air chuck.
