this stuff is awesome. i have an art collection, but old frames can be tough to find -and now i’m able to make some of my new frames old without submitting them to a hundred years of dust, dirt, and smoke. i recommend following the directions, and building up slowly in multiple thin layers.

I have been searching high and low for the solvent-based product which appears to be discontinued. This is a water clean-up replacement and it worked ok, just not what I wanted. I would probably buy again if I had another project in gold leaf restoration. The old formula just was so superior. Items I have purchased elsewhere, and I have tried at least 5 brands, just do not perform as well as the original formula.
