Worthless
I honestly don't know how this book is getting so many 5 star reviews. It provides a good overview of the Green Associate exam but is so general that you don't really learn anything. If you're new to green building, you won't be able to pass the exam using just this book, so what's the point in purchasing it? If you're not new to green building, then this book won't be helpful because it'll just be a review of everything you already know. I studied this book for weeks and still failed multiple practice exams. Save your money and try something else.

A review of Leed v4 Green Associate Exam guide.
I found it a very useful material not only for the purpose of exam but also give a thorough explanation of what green building and sustainability is all about.

This book works, however I recommend purchasing the LEED Green Associate Study Guide written by either Adam Ding or A. Togay Koralturk. Their books are far superior to this one. This book covers quite a bit of what is tested on the exam, however it is poorly put together and the grammar is terrible! This book will do the job though if you have no other options. The LEED Green Associate Exam is very simple. It just tests the basic concepts behind Green construction. In saying this, most any study guide on LEED will do the trick. If you really want to learn, then I suggest the two books listed above.

Amazing book!
I only have read this book twice and looked up the general green terms online to be familiar with them and answered the 25 questions at the end of the book and another 25 questions on the USGBC website and I PASSED yesterday from the first try!!! wonderful book! I haven't bought the USGBC reference guide !!!

What's the point? Save your money.
If you are brand new to LEED or sustainable design, this book might be beneficial as an introduction. If, however, you are looking for materials to pass the LEED Green Associate Exam, do not waste your time or money on this resource. The passages are almost verbatim from the USGBC credit library, which is a free resource with more information than this book. You can easily pass the exam by simply using the free materials and taking practice tests available online. Additionally, the parts not directly pulled from USBC were poorly written and did not provide any additional or necessary information.Long story short, save your money and use the free USGBC resources online.

Good.
Good. Yes, easy to read and understand. Just passed the LEED GA exam and order another ARE SS book by this author.

Don't buy this! Put your money to better use!
Total rip-off! I paid $48 for this so-called exam guide and all I got was a bunch of words that didn't make any sense! If it wasn't for another exam preparation material I found 3 days before the test, not only I would have failed on the exam, but also I would be too confused about the basics of green building! LEED and green building knowledge is more of a common sense... for the exam purposes you need to know a couple of rules and standards not a bunch of unrelated stuff and details on how many points you'll earn!!!
