HYDROWAVE HW-PKG-Mini Mini Bass Black, 4.25" X 2.75"

I haven't used it, yet, but mine came with no instructions. I am adding them here if anyone is in the same boat: Hydrowave Mini Operating Instructions: To Power On: Press and hold the power key until the red led light appears, then release the button. To Play a Sound: Press the play/pause button. when the light is blinking slowly it is playing. Press again to pause, and the light will blink rapidly. To Change Sounds: Press the power button once and the LED light indicator will switch to the sound being played. Then press the play button to play. The + and - buttons control the volume. DO NOT SUBMERGE THE CONTROL UNIT ONLY THE SPEAKER IS TO BE SUBMERGED.

It did not really help much. It was ok for spearing through the ice!

Not really sure if I like this or not. It only has one sound unlike the larger unit. It's also short. The speaker wire isn't long enough to mount to my boat. It does seem to draw the bait fish in tho. Just wish the speaker was long enough to mount

VERY DISAPPOINTED. THE UNIT WAS NOT AS ADVERTISED!! I was under the impression that this would be the "Bass Mini" addition since that's what it said in the item discretion but upon arrival I received the "Walleye Mini" addition instead. EDIT. 8/24/25 I WAS SKEPTICAL ABOUT THE REVIEWS AND WANTED TO BELIEVE THAT MAYBE THESE OTHER GUYS JUST GOT A BAD UNIT BUT AFTER ABOUT 12 OUTINGS WITH IT ON MY KAYAK THE UNIT COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING. WOULD LIKE TO GIVE ANOTHER TRY BUT I'M AFRAID I'LL JUST BE WASTING MONEY AT THAT POINT UNLESS THE SELLER WANNA SEND ME A NEW UNIT FREE OF CHARGE. OTHERWISE BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Works well. Battery does not last long in fact it quiets working and battery still test good. I hard wired it with a DC to 9v converter and it now works excellent.

This is my second unit. The first one didn't work at all. Amazon sent another. Neither saw water or my boat. Unfortunately this one is only partially functional. Passive mode works but volume won't adjust. Frenzy mode doesn't work at all. Will be returning this one too. Third time a charm?? Not much to this besides plastic and some diodes. For a $100+ it should at least work.

I had higher hopes for this product. I was played up to be the next best thing to dipping fish out of the lake with a net. We have seen a little movement when in the water, but so far, not enough to matter. Will continue to try. We enjoy the "hunt" more than anything.

I love this hydrowave and price was awesome. I didn't get the conversation kit from 9v to 12v battery like my buddy did. I believe the hydrowave works because it dampers the sound of the Trolling Motor. I literally see fish close to the b pay when it's on.

Not sure if it does a difference in me catching more fish

I purchased a hydro wave mini and it did not work straight out of the package I tried 3 new Duracell batteries to verify this, I then received a second one under warranty and it only worked for 1 week and then the same thing happened, it wouldn’t turn on again. I contacted TH-Marine which is a garbage company btw and sells cheap overpriced trash. They sent me a brand new one once again under warranty. I had it working for 2 months and then once again it died and would not turn on again no matter how many new batteries you put in it. Stay away from this product and anything this company makes.

I have noticed that fish come in when this puppy is on.

Does not attract fish.
