Easy to use “plug and play” in a USB port and immediately shows as DVD Drive. Draw doesn’t fully open when use “open or eject” drive option. Just clicks open about an inch and then have to pull draw open. It’s not stiff to open but could effect long term durability as the drive is only light and a bit ”plasticy”. Then after all, it was only just over £12 !! It does however do the job and plays dvd’s as described but not tested yet for “burning” discs. I bought it for occasional use to instll software on a notebook.

Works OK but don't record

This Jokdeer Disc burner didn't operate properly with my windows 8.1 media player software on my pc. It also didn't work properly with my computer's dvd drives either. Had nothing but trouble with it from the start. Sorry to have to give bad news about it but this was my experience with it. Hope this helps.

New laptops do not come with build in DVD/CD players anymore, so picked up Jokdeer external DVD player. Loved the design, as it is very slim and does not take much space, also loved the way the USB cable was attached at the back, as initially i thought it came without USB cable and the most important easy to use and for the very reasonable price.

I was surprised that this really did work flawlessly with my iMac! Literally plug in and play. I’m just delighted to be able to watch my DVDs again and five box sets later it’s still going strong. I just wish I’d got one years ago.

Excellent but I needed to download a separate app to enable it to work. Pity that there was no mention of this in the advert or in the delevered instructions.

Good value for the money, build quality is excellent as is the finish.Slim and working perfectly. Very happy with purchase. Highly recomendation .
