We had the smaller version over a year ago and decided to get the taller ones, great looking and very practical.

I bought this stool (the medium sized one) to keep some broadband equipment off the floor in my front room, to reduce dust ingress and improve cooling. I'd measured the dimensions and it was a perfect fit for a gap I had between a door and a bookcase.The stool comes in a very nice shade of bamboo and the fittings (screws, bolts and tools) to construct it are high quality, better than those which come with say Ikea furniture. The build instructions are clear to follow and it took me maybe 10 minutes to complete the task.It's sturdy and robust and does what I need it to do. I'm very pleased with it.The only word of caution I would offer is to check the sizes of the stools given in the descriptions, as these stools are generally smaller than one might at first think.

Ordered the medium as the large was not available at the time...Compact package arrived, very simple to put together with strong fixings and even little tools supplied - word of warning do not overtighten as you may split the wood (unfortunately I did a little on the 'shelf' but the splits are not too visible and didn't go so far as to weaken it...)Once put together It's an elegantly simple stool which would serve well as a multi purpose piece - as a child's seat or a foot stool, (and yes it's actually surprisingly comfortable even for someone adult size to sit on).

Sturdy but small

I was looking for a tiny stool for my new bathroom, to hold towels, hairdryer etc, and this is absolutely stunning.Perfect size, great design and matches perfectly the rest of the bamboo accessories.Very stable, well painted even that we keep it next to the bath and with the steam it is in perfect conditions.Was quite easy to assemble and even when I sit or step on it is strong and stable.The item arrived fast and well packed.

I purchased this so that my son who is still quite little, can reach the top cupboards! I think I use it more than he does!!! All spring cleaning done early. I can reach everywhere now!! I also sit on it most mornings whilst the cat has his morning cuddle. Such a lovely little sturdy stool, nice quality wood, feels smooth and is just great. Small, neat and friendly!

This product should not be described as a foot stool!! They are not fit for purpose! The are top heavy and unless you are perfectly balanced on the centre they tip over. We've had the kids fall off them 6 times, at first we told the children to be careful but then seeing that it was happening so often the adults in the family tried them and they are extremely easy to flip over. Rename the product, they should only be used as a side table or somewhere to put a plant. I'm really not happy. We've had many bumps and tears because of them!
