An Ecology Book for All!
Super cool book! Found this book in a store & wanted to buy it, but decided to get on Amazon to save a few dollars. I am an 8th grade science teacher & just like to read science stuff over the summer... but sometimes I want a book with pictures and one that is easy on the eyes- this book is a fun & good read for a science nerd, but nothing too complicated that I couldn’t use this to help teach as well. Besides the things you can learn in the book, the book has nice graphics and a really nice layout for its format and presentation. For $20 bucks, this book is a steal!! Ecology is super interesting- get this book if you like science!!!

Not for elementary age
It is a very nice book, as all DK books are. Except it is a bit advanced for what I intended, I planned to use it for an advanced 5th graders homeschooling, but this is more like high school level. It has the vibe of a high school textbook, so not quite what I was going for. But it is very nice and full of info.

Great Book
Rented it from a Library, and I liked it enough I wanted my own. A lot of information to read, and a lot of bright colors and photos. Book has 350 pages in it, it's very large. Arrived in perfect condition and no damages.

Great Primer on Ecology
Great primer on the field (and sub-fields) of Ecology. I definitely learned so much from reading this one!

Helpful
Love this book series. Thus far, this was the least informative & addicting, but that’s because so much of Ecology is a new science. I Recommend this, but read the Philosophy book first!

Outstanding Ecology Overview
Not even halfway through and it's already one of my favorite overview books of all time. Unfortunately had a bad fallout experience of sorts with ecology in University (hard math driven course), but came to appreciate nature through being in nature a lot and this is an essential guidebook. Definitely will buy- was just what I was looking for at a local library

Not written by Tony Juniper!
A good thorough introductory book on ecology, well written and easy to read. However, it is misleading of Amazon to state that Tony Juniper is the author, and to further the deception with his bio on their webpage for the book. Juniper is not the author. He merely wrote the foreword. The book is written by a panel of other authors, which makes the book strangely characterless and artificial, informative as it may be. It's still a good book though.

Great ecology book for students
This is a perfect, easy to understand and read book about ecology. Great for anyone studying or working within any ecology area. It has lots of diagrams and explanations and covers a huge range of subjects within Ecology. I bought this for my partner who has just completed a land and wildlife management uni course and it covers all the areas he was taught, wish he had found it sooner to reference during the course. We couldn't recommend it more!

OK
I like the layout of the book and am sure all the information in it is legitimate, but I just found it slightly boring.
