One 'N Only Argan Oil Hair Color 5N Light Natural Brown by one 'n only

I've been coloring my hair black for years, and bought this because I wanted a new hair color. I can't say enough good things about this. My hair is so soft and shiny!! It doesn't have a strong odor, and didn't stain my skin!! Love love love this, the only thing that I did notice is that it is darker than it says it is..

About a year ago I tried taking my hair from black to blonde at home. Eeeek. I have naturally curly course hair anyways and it was destroyed. I started going to a salon and slowly brought my hair back to life, but it still wasn't as soft and silky as it used to be. Now a year later I decided I don't want to be blonde ish any more and did allot of research before deciding to dye my hair medium brown. First thing I did was buy a protein filler, because my hair was still damaged in some areas I was afraid of the color not grabbing evenly. After the twenty minutes of leaving that in I felt noticeable difference in my hair texture. I was excited. Secondly I did a test strip, because I honestly didn't want my hair to turn black with hot roots like it always does when I use any brand of box kits. Test strip came out even, not black with no hot roots so I went all in and did my hair in sections, doing underneath first, since if that was on longer and got darker I could live with that, doing the top/crown and roots last. A tip I had read online to avoid hot roots is to use a cap while it sits so the heat from your scalp will be trapped and heat all of your hair mostly evenly and not just the roots. I did this and was pleased that it worked out well. I only left it on for barely 30 minutes before I shampooed with cold water, and then put on a deep conditioner and put the cap back on. This time I used my hair dryer to heat it up because I didnt have a whole lot of time, after a another half hour I rinsed that out and was FLOORED by how silky my hair is. I used one box of 5n and a 10 dev because I dint want allot of lift/damage. With my hair wet, it does look black, I had a momentary heart attack before I used heat and checked it all out dry. A nice even, shiney deep brown color that is awesome. Next time I will prob use a shade lighter, but so far I am extremely happy with how it turned out!

I have been coloring my hair for years. Bought One N Only at Sally's since it came with free shampoo offer. Put color on my hair and was shocked that no color rinsed out with the water. Since I used the One N Only shampoo (I waited about 30 hours) I believe it was the reason my color did not fade.

This is the worst hair color product I've ever used. I've done many thing's with my hair, daring styles and colors, and I have never had an experience like I had with this one. My hair is breaking and coming out in clumps when I wash it, even the color didn't come out right. At this point I'm wondering if I need to cut it all off. I will never use this product again.Just for reference, I used this on new growth, no chemically treated hair. I shudder to think what would have happened if I had used it on treated hair.
