It fits together fairly easily, and once you tighten the fasteners it's solid. We use it for a small old dog to get her on the couch, it works.

the fit and finish is good enough but the size of the storage area is a little small could have gone close to the bottom instead of just the top step

This was a gift for a grandparent who has her first granddaughter who loves to take baths and get into the bath using a step stool it came with instructions that are very easy to find the receiver of the gift enjoyed the step stool and loves the color in the design me as a purchaser I really love the price thought it was a great deal. And the product was very stable once put together very strong
