Good boot, sizing a problem
These are good boots but buyer beware of sizing. I bought 11s. Couldn't believe it when the came up small. Looked on the website. There euro sizes and UK sizes appear to be incorrect. Ordered a 12,european46 on website, an 11 on all other manufacturers charts. Perfect fit. So really good boots but check the size.

Not worth the money
I hardly ever write reviews but on this occasion I am going to make an exception to save people wasting their time and money.I have always bought magnums but back in April I thought I would try and save a bit of cash and buy something new.Due to a bad ankle, I need to wear high neck boots almost all the time while it repairs and this style can go with a suit for what i work as. After buying these all they were used for was walking to and from work (a mile each way) walking around work and the occasional shopping trip and commute into central London. None of which should be hard on any kind of reasonable footwear.However in December, I packed up and headed to see family in Cumbria which is very wet. As I got out of the station I suddenly realized my feet were cold and wet! On getting to the house I examined them and both had basically fallen apart at the bottom (they were fine recently during the London rains).After I had cared for these boots with great attention to detail; I expected more than 8 months life after only general wear and tear and not even running round on rough ground!Needless to say I headed straight for the nearest outdoors shop and purchased a pair of magnums and threw these useless ones in the bin outside the shop.Don't waste your time and money, 8 months life is not worth it (I would expect less if you do anything on rough ground). Always pay the extra bit to buy decent high quality footwear which will last you for years to come!

Not for me
After an hour in these boots I felt my ankle had done a hundred miles because of the rubbing despite trying three ways to re-lace the upper part, and different thickness of sock. Probably just a one off to be fair as some boots can work better for me than others. I would not put anyone off buying these though as the return process is simple and made easy by Amazon. Just a result of distance buying, and not trying before buying. No big issue.
