Watch having difficulty charging
Watch will not charge. After having been out of box since December 26th, in sunlight, under lamp light, sitting in direct sun today, second hand does not even move.

Not reliable.
A large attractive watch and I liked the idea of solar power. When it arrived I charged it in bright sunlight for four hours and in the evening I placed it under a desk lamp. This should have been more than enough to fill the battery.Alas, it was not. The next day it started jumping forward at random. An inaccurate watch is functionally useless, so within four days of purchase it was returned to Amazon for a non-quibble refund.

Incredibly good value…
…compared to a number of other well-known brands of similar watches that are available on Amazon, Internet searches and/or the High Street.Pulsar is a well-known brand and has been making watches for many years and produced the first ever LED watch back in 1972 and since then the name has been synonymous with adventurous and leading edge design since then. There does seem to be some conflicting numbers attached to the description and the ‘Compare with…’ list. So let me try to give the measurements of my watch as measured very carefully: the watch band is 22mm and the watch itself measures 43mm from side to side of the ‘non-rotating’ bezel and finally the watch measures 47mm from side to side when you include the winder/adjuster.I have, over the years, accumulated a number of watches and one or two are quite valuable and therefore I tend not to wear them too often as they are appreciating in value. My son was looking for a new watch and he got me interested in having a look to help him decide when I came upon this watch on Amazon and, having previous experience of Pulsar watches, I liked the look of it and the fact that it is Solar powered was a clincher for me [as was the very reasonable price tag].I can confirm that it has thus far kept ‘to the second’ time [set up using my Radio Controlled wall clock] and I can also confirm that it is waterproof to the extent of normal everyday wear. I have not been deep sea diving so cannot comment upon the 100M claim on the watch face.Setting the time and date is relatively easy and the enclosed instructions show how to use the winder to do this. It has 2 stages of ‘pull-out’ where the first moves the hands and the second rotates the date dial – just be aware of the time of day when setting the watch up as the date obviously changes when the hour hand has travelled through 24 hours.Other reviews have commented on the strap not being to their liking as far as quality is concerned but I do not have a problem with the quality at all and once I had removed a couple of links [1 from each side of the strap] it fits me perfectly well and is comparable with other watches I have that cost a lot more than this did. (There are some helpful videos on YouTube about how to remove Pulsar watchband links if you’ve never done it – or a battery replacement shop will do it for a small fee)This watch is a nice subtle dark blue [Pulsar also sell this watch in other colours although I think the blue is the nicest – I would wouldn’t I] and I have had a number of complimentary comments about the watch since swapping from my previous watch. As you may have guessed - I commend this item and believe it to be excellent value and am also pleased to report that it works perfectly well for me and on that basis I am very happy to recommend it to you.Thank you for your time in reading my feedback/review – I hope it may have helped you in your own buying decision. If this feedback/review has helped in any way please be kind enough to click on 'Helpful'.

Adjustable.
I previously gave this watch two stars because I couldn't find any way to adjust the watch strap. I searched the Seiko/pulsar web site, but to no avail. My review prompted a response from the seller via Amazon. This led to a telephone conversation and instructions on how to remove links from the watch strap. This done, the watch is now fully serviceable and deserving of its five stars. It just goes to show: Amazon does check the reviews - and some sellers do care! Let us hope that Seiko amends its website.

Looks far more expensive that it actually was.
The watch is astonishingly good value, its a lovely size and is very comfortable to wear, it's lost only 3 seconds in a 2 weeks which is very impressive. One of the best features is the luminescence, very bright indeed. The dial in daylight is also very clear and easy to read, the subtle wave effect is really quite attractive. If I had to pick one fault it would be the strap, it doesn't feel to be the most robust one but right now it's just fine, and whilst on the subject of the strap the method of adjustment is not obvious by any means but once you have sussed how to do it, it's quite simple.Overall would not hesitate to recommend, this watch is an absolute bargain.

A really good value solar Diver style watch.
I was wary about purchasing this particular watch because of its size in the description being 43mm as I have a small size wrist. I had to remove 4 links from the bracelet and I needn't have worried because the watch wears perfectly on my wrist. The bezel is fixed so it isn't a true diver watch but it does have 100mm water resistance. The blue dial has a wavy pattern which doesn't show clearly in the photo and the watch is solar powered so no need to worry about battery changes. Pulsar is a good brand and I have purchased a few over the years. If you are looking for a diver style solar watch you can't go wrong with this watch.
