I first left a poor review for this water butt as when it arrived some parts were missing and it had a dint in the bottom (not affecting its water holding ability and invisible on the stand). This was unfair as I should have contacted the seller before giving a review. Aftersales is fantastic with this company and I was immediately contacted by them when they saw my review, apologising for any problems and immediately said they would send the missing parts by next day courier (which they did) and gave me a £10 refund for the trouble (which I didn't want as the missing parts was more than enough but they gave me). The water butts are really good quality and are very sturdy and would recommend them and the company to buy and buy from. Carl

A sturdy, well-designed water butt. The supplied template makes it easy to make the right cuts in the downpipe. After that, assembly is a doddle. The lid fits securely and no problems with siting to right or left of the drainpipe. The feed pipe enters through the back and the tap sits on the front. The flexible connection pipe is just long enough to turn the butt through 90 degrees if you need to. For me it works best to leave it straight so that I have the wall on my right as I'm filling a watering can. Edit: As others have commented, the tap dripped slightly. I then discovered that it wasn't seated properly. Hold the body firmly and push down on the handle and you should feel a slight click. It then works opposite to the usual tap direction, i.e. it's clockwise to turn ON. There's now no drip whatsoever on mine.

Undoubtedly a well-made product, and the water container shape and size are exactly what I needed. The connection kit works well, and the instructions are clear and simple. I used a compatible sealant around the thread of the screwed pipe components before fixing (as these always tend to leak) and this was effective. The reason for only 4 stars is that one of the base sections was slightly broken in transit (but it still works OK) and the tap drips. The tap currently has my watering can underneath it, to catch the drops but when the butt empties out from use in the summer, I will probably change the tap.

Very Easy To Install Once You Realise You Dont Own A Hak Saw And Need 1 As Cowboy Council Workers Had Cemented The Down Pipe Into The Ground Lyk Y Wud You Even Do That When The Drain Is Millimetres Away. Been Raining Today So Ive Got A Pure Chuffty On That It Duznt Leak & Is Now Half Full. I Turned Into Hoarder Of Bottled Rain Water Thinkin I Was Gona Run Out N Mi Larl Pals Wud Die. Had My Plants 4years.going to invest in a few more from little shop of horrors. Very cheap very well packaged arrives within 5 days unlike the very expensive things there getting away with sellin on here. Check them out if ur scruffy n your house is full of flies.

I ordered 3 of these. 2 get 5 stars 1 gets one star. They arrived quickly, had all the parts and were easy to assemble and connect. Unfortunately after 3 months use the side of one of them melted in the hot weather. The seller was nice but doesn’t deal with the public. Amazon requested a return but the item is large and ups refused to take it if it wasn’t boxed. I am hoping the others survive the summer.

Firstly let's talk about the product, very sturdy, all parts arrived. Putting together and attatching to the drain pipe was easy enough. Some has said tap leaked, mine seemed to but I turned it upside down just to let it settle, it stopped leaking after a few minutes. All in all a great product. Now delivery, not the sellers problem, being delivered by Hermes, said could not deliver on expected date as bigger than they expected, arrived 3 days late, damaged, looked like they had tried to force it into a van, lid split and base pushed in, luckily did not affect the use of product only look.

After a week or so of having it up it collapsed from the stand and flooded the garden. Not had the same problem with other water butts. Waste of money, waste of plastic resources and it’s unsightly. No practical way to get it to the dump and too damaged to try and fix it. Now have a pipe coming out of the drain which just pours water over the patio. I had read the reviews about the tap leaking but we were struggling to find a narrow water butt so decided to take a chance. It leaked a lot. We expected it so just put the watering can underneath it. This didn’t bother us too much and we would have tolerated it happily for the convenience of having a narrow water butt. This purchase was a big regret.

Ho usato questo serbatoio per alimentare un impianto di riscaldamento con acqua distillata. Il serbatoio si è dimostrato perfetto . Rapporto prezzo/qualità/impiego ottimo. Il serbatoio è autoportante , robusto , facilmente collegabile alla rete idrica .

Es robusto y tiene unas medidas que facilitan su transporte en utilitario (Opel Corsa) ocupando maletero y tirando adelante los asientos traseros. Buena capacidad. Aunque la base sea desmontable cumple con su papel y no es necesario adquirir otra que en apariencia sea más estable. Aun así señalo que la base "Strata - Soporte para depósito de agua de 250 L" no sirve para este depósito, no encaja (es más estrecha). La conexión del grifo es 3/4. Viene incluido uno de plástico pero se puede cambiar sin problemas por otro metalico de jardín sin necesidad de adquirir rosca o juntas aparte, ya que lleva una de plástico pegada en el interior. Sólo hay que enroscar y listo. Si se piensa poner un programador de riego (para riego por goteo o exudante) es imprescindible que sea de bola y no de membrana (la membrana necesita presión para abrirse. Sólo utilizar en grifos). Además es necesario colocar el depósito a mayor altura que la zona a regar.

Bonjour, j'ai reçu la citerne hier après-midi, je l'ai installé selon les instructions mais il y a une fuite au niveau de la soudure du bas. Produit retourné gratuitement ce qui vaut bien 1 étoile.

El deposito tiene unas dimensiones muy buenas, es bastante solido, la base se monta fácilmente y bien pensada. Creo que lo he llenado hasta la mitad y el grifo no gotea nada. Cuando puse el grifo tenia las vueltas justas para que quedase bien apretado, sin pasarme. La rosca es de plástico, así que no hay que pasarse. La tapa superior encaja bastante bien y queda bien cogido, no comprendo como puede volarse. La T que viene para instalar en la entrada superior esta bien pensada, con 2 tapones para cegar la salida no usada. El diámetro que tienen esas tomas era justo el del tubo de salida del aire acondicionado. Ni siquiera tuve que cortar el tubo del aire acondicionado. La altura y forma de la base es justo para poder poner un cubo de agua y llenarlo. Si esta vacío de agua, el caudal de agua no es demasiado grande pero lo suficiente y también empieza a caer antes del giro completo de la llave. Ho acquistato questa tanica per realizzare un'impianto di irrigazione sul mio balcone che è sprovvisto di rubinetto. La tanica è molto capiente (100 litri) ma essenso sviluppata in altro occupa uno spazio molto ridotto. Io non utilizzo i supporti per rialzarle e devo dire che si è rivelata molto stavile. Il rubinetto posizionato sul fondo non perde. Sono formiti anche dei raccordi e tubi per la connessione alla grondaia (non li ho utilizzati). L'unica cosa che ho notato spostando la tanica è la presenza di bagnato sotto la tanica. Escludendo un problema di tenuta, penso che questo sia dovuto alla condensa, dato che l'acqua nella tanica è fredda e nell'ambiente c'è molta umidita (Agosto a Milano). Ottimo prodotto, ben fatto.
