Good Value for Money. It's not a flute but better. It is German Wind Instrument which sound similar to flute. Full durable plastic. But cheaper from Kadene is also available.

Sound quality is good. Still learning on how to compose different tunes. Overall happy with the purchase.

This was the kind of quality I was expecting before buying this recorder. and it was beyond my expectations. I don't know about other recorders which are cheaper than this will sound this great. Neither I won a recorder from beforehand. I have been a Bansuri Player for quite a while so I have some experience in sound and pitch of wind instruments. Yamaha is phenomenal in sound standards. ✅Built quality 5/5 ✅Carry bag 4/5 (threads to pull cpuld have been better) ✅Accessories 3/5 (they won't provide a cleaning rod, but hey! You got the manual and fingering chart) ✅Sound(Tone) 5/5 ✅Pitch 5/5 Go blindly for this. You won't regret !!

What would you like to hear!! It's From Yamaha...stong built... superb finish and beautiful tone...all in one. The tone is bit on higher octave..sharp tone. I would have taken bit base sound in recorder..but that's what the particular model is for. But surely a decent recorder at a decent price.

The music teacher at my daughter's elementary school requested we purchase a recorder but did not provide any advice on brand or model. We purchased this recorder based on the reviews we read and we're very happy we did. The sound is crisp and clear, listeners can easily distinguish the different notes being played, and the price was very reasonable for the quality. Turns out with the exception of one student, everyone in her class had the same recorder! I recommend this recorder to any parent looking for one for their child's music class. If this is not the "industry standard" for elementary school music classes, it should be.

This is the specific recorder that was required for my child's booklist, the "soprano" type, and I couldn't find it in local stores so I was stoked to find it on Amazon. Excellent quality, as you'd expect from Yamaha, and a nice storage pouch.
