Nikon DK-22 Eyepiece Adapter for Nikon SLR Cameras

I use this item to adapt my Nikon FM/FE eyepiece to my D7200 body. As one knows, D7200 has a rectangular viewfinder so it is not possible to fit any round eyepiece accessories directly to the body. So this one rules out this problem and convert D7200 viewfinder into a round viewfinder.

Owning a Nikon D80 and wearing spectacles is not a good combination using the D80 Square viewfinder, always having difficulty viewing the setting in bright light. Surfing the net came up with a solution, to convert from a square to a large round eyepiece. You will need the three items listed.1, Nikon Dk-3 Rubber Eye Cup for Fe2, Fm2.2, Nikon Dk-22 Eyepiece Adaptor for DG-23, Nikon Finder Eyepiece for Fa-Fe2-Fm2-Fe & Fm.Settings are now always visible, even in the brightest sunlight, though the modified finder.Sourcing these items is rather difficult, but if you can source the items it works brilliantly. I understand this works on other Nikon and Cannon cameras, but have no further information, except to say, get these items if you own a D80 and wear specs

got fed up of losing eyepieces on my D750 so went ahead and did the round eyepiece conversionyou need 2 other parts (Dk-3 rubber eye piece and Nikon Finder Eyepiece For FA-FE2-FM2-FE-FM)Very tight fit with this system compared to what comes as standard with the D750. Will probably put a few dollops of superglue on just incase since this conversion isnt exactly cheap :)

For it's purpose it's indispensable. Useful adapter for better eye-cups to be fitted. Nothing more to add.

Kept losing my original D750 eyepiece & this is a much firmer fitting - it's a shame you need 3 items to add a circular eyepiece as it bumps up the cost but hopefully I won't be losing this one - it does seem very secure.

In all the product works exactly as advertised, however it is absolutely ridiculous that you need this adapter to attach it to a nikon camera. this should be included as part of the eyepiece without silly additional costs .
