Great movement detection light bulb, lights up better then any other bulb I have tried.

I ordered in August now it is Feb, both light bulb doesnt work anymore, one doesnt turn on at all. the other one never could turn off when it there is sun light. Dont buy

UPDATE: OK.... I was obviously amazed by the features of these bulbs by my initial review, however, I have owned this two pack of bulbs for about 7 months when the first bulb that was installed started flickering for a few days, and then it just didn't work anymore. LED bulbs are rated up to 50,000 hours, so for a bulb to go bad after 7 months of only being on while motion is activating it is ridiculous. I'll apply a very liberal number and say it was activated for 1 hour every night (even though it wasn't activated anywhere close to this), and that would mean this bulb only lasted a little over 200 hours. It's a cool bulb with an awesome feature to save you money by turning the light off when it's not needed, but if the bulb only lasts 200 hours, than you're not really saving any money at all because no one buys a bulb that only lasts 200 hours, that's only 1/5 of the average incandescent bulb life. So after being disappointed at the state of the first bulb, I took it out and installed the second bulb that came in the two pack that I bought, and this bulb is not functioning as it's supposed to. It's on all the time and does not shut off no matter if there is motion or no motion. So I basically spend $18 for two bulbs, and only one properly functioning, that only lasted 7 months. I want to give them another shot since I initially liked these so much, but it will totally not be worth it to have that situation happen again. Hope they work out some of their kinks in QC.These bulbs are amazing. We have one installed on the side porch. We were sick of leaving the light on all night and forgetting to shut it off during the day. I'm not sure how much power consumption goes into the radar function always being active, but if a lot less goes into that than powering the LED, than this thing saves money. Otherwise, it's a super convenient thing to have. I needed a bulb that has 360° detection since it is not only mounted up close to the top of the door, but it is mounted right side up inside a metal and glass outdoor fixture, and I want it to detect movement as people are walking up to the porch. This can't work any more perfect. It doesn't detect movement in the driveway, but turns on as soon as someone is closely approaching the stairs to walk up to the porch. I would say it turns on when people are about 15' to 20' away.

The Tento bulb works just as advertised but the radar detection is very touchy. Better than not touchy at all I guess. I use in a glass and metal enclosed front porch fixture with the bulb in an upright position and it works flawlessly as far as motion detection and the dusk to dawn feature. Never comes on during the day. My fixture is mounted approx. 8 ft high. It comes on if we pass directly behind the front wall inside the house where the bulb is located at night and does go off after about 30 sec. I ordered warm white and that's about the only thing I don't care for. Its more of a bright coolish looking color than the warmer yellow I was hoping for.

They look just like regular non-sensor bulbs. They are very sensitive, and can also detect motion through a door, and even through a sheet rock wall pair. They can be mounted in a torcherie style floor lamp, where they are facing up, and they still work to detect motion in the room, probably because the radar bounces off the ceiling. I have another installed facing down in the balcony. It comes on as soon as I open the door - even though I can't see it at that point, it sees me!

This set of two light bulbs came amazingly poorly packed, all parts are either medal or plastic and one of two pulps arrived in two pieces but the pulp worked so I didn't need to return. I assembled cover and bottom together and started using. Poor packaging lowers my rating because now I am not sure if they are working correctly or not. At least they are working. They are bright which gives them full 5 star, motion detection is too sensitive because lights are turning on when I am inside the house near the light outside. I am living in townhouse and hope lights turning on and off does not disturb my neighbors. Fortunately the light does't turn on when I am upstairs in my house. Energy efficiency I cannot say anything because future will proof that.

These work great even thru the glass fixtures on the porches.I do wish they stayed on just a bit longer but all in all exactly what I was looking for.Will definitely buy again.
