Felco F-300 Picking and Trimming Snips, F 300, Multicolor

I got a bouquet of my favorite stargazer lilies on Valentine’s Day, and have been using these shears to keep this bouquet going for 17 days and counting, which is a record for me. They are nice and sharp so I can easily snip off about an inch from the stems every three days. I saw a tip that it’s best to do this underwater, so I transfer the bouquet to a basin of water to do the trimming, While they’re in the basin, I wash out the vase well, and add fresh water and flower preservative (Chrysal, which I ordered here on Amazon). Flowers can be expensive so these shears were worth every penny to get more days of beauty.

I use these in my kitchen to cut flower stems and on my deck to snip off dead flower stalks. They are the usual great Felco quality.

I like the size and feel of these Felco snips, but honestly this pair did not live up to my expectations. One of the blades became twisted after using it on a small azalea branch. They are probably fine for pruning small green branches or snipping flowers for arranging, but not particularly useful to me. I have used the brand before and they were real work horses, standing up to tough gardening chores, so I might have been expecting too much.

They are as described and arrived quickly. They are formed well to the hand and light weight. I have only used them for small pruning but I’m very happy with the sharpness and ease of snipping.

Love these shears/pruners. They're very comfortable for anyone with small hands, and they make clean, precise cuts - even on plants with softer branches. They were reviewed and recommended by Wirecutter, and they definitely exceed expectations.

Great to have in your pocket for the lighter stuff, you won’t cut a 1” oak branch, but that’s not the purpose for these, I have F2’s for that, these are for small green twigs on bushes etc, I have three pair of snips for different applications and a pair of Felco loppers as well. The line just oozes quickly and pride in production, one thing to note however is that this set does NOT have replacement parts available, I suppose you could sharpen the blade if needed, however, the job they have will not require that for years, this set of snips has the easiest job out of all my Felco products. Get a pair, you won’t be disappointed at all!

I own 8 pairs of these pruners to speed up the pruning job between shrubs in my large garden. I use rubbing alcohol to clean them after each perennial or shrub. The pruners are very sharp and super light. They are the best tool for pruning roses, spireas, hydrangeas, weigelas, garden phloxes, clematis, vegetables, herbs and more.. They are great for cutting thinner tree branches but not thick branches. For thicker and older branches I use the Felco #2 and Felco saw. This is an excellent product. Highly recommended! Perfect for my hand size.

Tijera sencilla pero de calidad . Tengo una con varios año de uso y funciona estupendamente. No sirve para ramas gruesas pero para el uso diario es estupenda y al precio que esta no tiene competencia. Acabo de comprarme dos mas.

Felco make very good quality, gardening tools. Easy to use and very efficient. These trimming snips are brilliant for more delicate jobs. I used them to harvest my grapes and they made easy work of it. Plus you can get spares for them; if you break a blade or snap the spring etc, you can get replacement parts at a decent price and reasonable p & p. I have had my large secateurs for years and have just broken one of the blades, which I am going to replace. Would definitely recommend Felco
