better drive than DW5002, 9002, Speed cobras. Just as good or better than Demon drives. and equal to the NEW DW MDD's.
I'm using this on my 2016-2017 Tama Speed Cobra. I have a speed cobra, Demon direct drive, the new DW MDD, and sold my DW5002 and 9002. The trick shaft is better than the DW 5002, 90002, and speed cobras. The Demon shaft is good but the trick feels even better. I was going to use the demon shaft on the cobras. However since I might sell them I still needed a better drive shaft. I'm glad I got the trick. The DW MDD shaft is just as good as the trick. If it would have fit on the cobras I would have used them. If your looking for an upgrade for DW then the MDD drive shafts are just as goods trick but I'm not sure how much they would be or even if they are sold separately. The trick drive shaft is a nice upgrade to the following pedals I have and use to have. DW5002, 9002, Speed cobras, Tama Camco. Just as good or better than Demon drives. i'm guessing they will outlast the demons and equal to the NEW DW MDD's. Ooh yea the picture if different than the one I received. The one I received adjust on both ends like all the other drive shafts I've seen. I'm glad it does. I was not sure about the shaft in the picture shown.

This is the answer...
Wow, just wow. I never claimed to be a great double bass pedal player, but after today I think I'm on my way there. I play a dw5000 and this drive shaft fits very well. The stock DW shaft wasn't very good compared to this Trick brand. This is how the pedal should have been all along and now that it's super smooth and responsive, I can really take my double bass to the next level. I'm still just at a loss for words about how well this drive shack works compared to the stock one. I am super happy although it was a little expensive but I still am super happy.

Feels great on Pearl Demon Drive double bass pedal!!!
I just received the trick drive shaft. I'm replacing my Ztech drive shaft for pearl demon drive double bass pedals. The part I need from pearl is back ordered and I didn't want to wait any longer. So, I considered many different options and ultimately when I came across the P1V6 Trick Drive Shaft I had to order it. I went over reviews and couldn't resist. The drive shaft is about half the cost of the part I need for my Pearl drive shaft. And almost 3 times cheaper than the Pearl (Ztech) drive shaft. Like I said I just received it. I opened the box and put it on my pedals so I could try it out. I played for about 10-15 minutes straight. My first thought was, Wow, this feels better than the Ztech drive shaft. It's as described and feels great! The only thing I noticed is that it is a little longer than the Ztech shaft. I had to move my pedal about an inch or so. I didn't pay attention to the dimensions and probably overlooked it. If space matters just check it first. Otherwise, awesome product. I will definitely consider Trick Drums again. I will highly recommend. One more thing. When I found this drive shaft I was without my double bass pedal for a week. Then, when I ordered the part the delivery date was 12/29. Which I was happy with, but no I received it almost a week early! Thanks again Trick Drums!

TAMA 900 series Iron cobra players, BE WARE! This shaft will fit, but will rub the left spring tower
I play the TAMA 900 series Iron cobra double pedals, and decided to buy this Trick driveshaft to replace the original tama driveshaft. I installed the Trick driveshaft, and the driveshaft does technically fit the pedals, the only problem is the Trick's mounting part is a little too big, and it rubs on the top of the main pedals left spring tower. The pedal still is playable, but at the end of the stroke it rubs the spring tower and that throws you off. Even though Trick states that these will work on Tama pedals, it does not wotk on the newest 900 series iron cobra's. I will have to grind down the right mounting part of the shaft so it does not rub the spring tower. Trick needs to update their descriptions and compatability list!

Smooth as silk
I needed a new driveshaft for my DB pedal. This thing is awesome. My pedals feel brand new. If you use a DB pedal, I suggest everyone buy one of these.

Very solid piece of equipment
I've had my eyes on these for years and I finally got them a few months ago and I can say they are well worth the wait. I put them in my 910 speed cobras and man the slave pedal feels so solid!! Just like the description says zero latency no backlash whatsoever and it's very beefy it's a little bigger than what's on the demon drives so that should be a scale or idea of how big it is. These drive shafts will last a long time no worries for a LONG time, when you play with them it's uncanny on how they feel alike just like what you'd play on a double bass kit especially when you play the slave pedal with your main foot they feel exactly alike it's amazing I'm very glad I got these. Just like one of the reviews if you respect yourself as a drummer get these you won't regret it. Hope this helped even a little rock on!!!

Significant upgrade
I was thinking about replacing my pearl eliminators, I had spent a lot of time looking at other brands but wasn’t sure I wanted to spend north of $500 for a new set of double pedals. I tried to find a new driveshaft for the pearls but I guess pearl discontinued them. When I received the trick driveshaft it seem like it was a little bit longer and constructed very well. It was easy to put on the pedal and right away I could tell the difference. Before, there was a significant amount of lag in the slave pedal now with the new trick driveshaft, there is none. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking to replace the driveshaft or is experiencing a significant amount of lag from the slave pedal.
